So Frank Onyeka and Benjamin Frederick will have a new coach at Brentford. Thomas Frank has been in talks with tottenham Hotspurs for days now and he has reached an agreement with them, it seems. Just the club to club settlement left.

Bruno Fernandes, Victor Osimhen and now Theo Hernandez have all said no to Saudi's Al Hilal's Mega Millions.

Al Hilal in talks with Gyokeres and Darwin Nunez since the Osimhen seduction failed. Also in talks with Angelino of Roma (LB).

I bet Pinto at Barca had more appearances than this.

This is how it feels to be President of the Benchers' association at a club. Just collecting weekly wages, showing up for training, have a first class seat view to all EPL games and retire with multiple major titles with most folks not knowing your name.

An African equivalent is long overdue. This "friendly" tournament helps to emulate a high stakes competition, akin to the world cup, and as result, European sides are improving much more rapidly.
It will help Africa more than Chan can ever help IMO

undecided We need Ejuke’s pacy legs, dribbling skills & energy in the national team, even if it’s only for super sub positions
It seems we watch highlights and read stats sheet that’s why y’all think ejuke is an upgrade over Moses Simon.

Warri Southgate you're pushing your luck with all these erroneous and silly arguments. So this will be the last time I will engage you on this particular subject.

Samuel last match day scored a goal. Couple of match days earlier against Rwanda in the AFCON qualifiers he scored a worldie dribbling the entire Rwandan defense. For AC Milan he has scored crucial goals and given vital assists on occasion. How that qualifies to a false proposition in your eyes only you can tell. Maybe it's the English comprehension tutors you had as a student you should be querying for not being able to understand 'club and national team football to be devastating when on his game' or should I get someone to translate to Urhobo for you?

Again why should we use a championship performance that was two years ago to make an argument for Tella? The person you claimed he's better than did he ever play second division football before being invited to the national team?

Nobody is dismissing Nathan except your warped imagination. In the current setup of the SE he's not ahead of winger at the moment based on your 'here and now' doctrine. Could that change tomorrow? Maybe but until Tella shows undeniable form he's down the list of choice wide men for me.

You think you're sharp trying to smuggle Osimhen and Aina into the conversation. Did both of them get chosen ahead of more established players when they started with the national team? Aina of 2017-18 was he as good as he is today?

Your hypocrisy is always very bare. When it suits you here and now is the way to go when it doesn't you concoct some other ridiculous excuse.

komekn:
Please have some INTEGRITY.

Let me quote you verbatim, "club and national team football to be devastating when on his game"

It's that false proposition you made when you described Chukwueze,I challenged as it has no substance,no matter how you look at it.

Why will championship 🏆 numbers not fly as a unit of measurement for outstanding quality ❓

I am comparing Tella who some of have thrown under the bus 🚌 and dismissed. He has played two games and how many minutes but you dismiss him.

When VO played for Nigeria his first game was abysmal and it took several games for him to have impact.

Many of you including you choir master dismissed Aina as not being in good enough. Even justified him being dropped for the 2018 world 🌎 cup in place ofba completely dead Echjiele, Shehu, Ogu, J.Obi and now he out best defender for several years.

The prejudice is blatant and unguarded and some of you have bare faced cheek to call me a hater.

Just a random thought, what if osimhen’s agent is the problem. I thought he fired his agent during that initial Napoli debacle right ?

Ejuke is not all about dribbles and speed.
He passes the ball better than all our forwards, in short passes and long balls.

Ejuke is about control and possession.

Manchester City is building the most bloody attack since Rijkaard's Barcelona.

Haaland
Marmoush
Cherki
Savinho
Doku
Foden
Bobb
Reijnders
Gonzalez
Rodri
Kovacic

All these have goals in their locker. Welcome to the FESTIVAL OF GOALS.

Not adding
Bernardo Silva
Gundogan who are likely to play their last season with us in 25-26.

Brutal.

Yes, I agree.

A positive indactor of that is the French Ligue 1, creating a new award for the best dribbler in a season.
I was just pondering. I think the reason why this trend of passing the ball from side to side at the edge of the opponent's 18 is because of the dearth of creative dribblers in the midfield and on the wings.

Football was once all about the dribble now it is dominated by passes and use of space. But I don't think we need do away with dribblers. Dribbling unsettles systems. A good dribbler in the middle can spare us the tedium of endless side to side passes.

If you notice, even on the wings, once the wingers receives the ball, he runs, if he's confronted by a defensive wall, he breaks his run and passes the ball.

Dribble na! Dribble!!!

When people make statements like this, it actually shows that they do not really watch football. No disrespect meant.

Under Pep Guardiola, we have really seen brilliant players express themselves, especially at Manchester City. You just need watch Bernardo Silva dazzle under Guardiola.

Watch this short clip.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajQv9xqzNm0

We have seen magic from Sane, Foden, David Silva, Bernardo Silva. Watch Doku and Savinho. Watch Oscar Bobb
Watch these guys play under Pep Guardiola.

We are seeing players moving faster in tighter defences. Pep Guardiola has actually improved football.
I'm fortified by the fact that this opinion is not unique to me. Many people even on international forums have expressed the same sentiments.

This is the first time I will be disagreeing with you D'Law.

Yes Simon can be annoying but his assists are up there.

Ejuke has potential but I need more end product in terms of goals and assists from him. His dribbles can be a Pius Ikediaish with no clear result.

😂😂 I don't mind disagreements oo. I'm just looking at us having fire on the wings. Simon tends to break the flow of our attack because he doesn't know what to do with the ball.
