Some time I laughed when they compare abacha term with this.is it because of hatred or an act of ignorance,newspapers archive are there for references.pry and secondary school teachers were on strike, people were cooking with sawdust, activist were killed and people can't gather in 5 to discuss.

I also biliv you know, technology revolution never took place then,.......if military still in power, people won't use saw dust again, after all, people even going back to firewood, after 2 decades they left it.

For your education, salaries were less than 1000 naira for most people . Doctors were earning around 9k per month. It was Obasanjo that first increased the salary of doctors to around 30k per month.

Dollar was around 18 naira.
