They are equally important. Nobody is more human than others. Never intentionally pay more attention to one in negligence of the other. Give them equal care and let nature take the blame if any of them gives up. The ideology that inspired the question or the post is the type that gave birth to the stupid belief that mothers are more important than fathers. From claiming that aborted babies are not humans, they are now beginning to say that mothers are more important than babies in labour rooms. By the time they succeed in establishing the false belief that mothers are more important than babies in labour rooms, they will begin to preach that any woman who feels pains because of pregnancy should abort the pregnancy. |

immortalcrown:Wow. You thought you did something. I bet you're not a parent or a husband. All this theorising and you didn't even understand the context of the post. It has nothing to do with all that jargon you typed. |

Double0h7:You wrote all this jargon without explaining what the post is about. |

immortalcrown:If it was your wife in labour and the doctors ask you to choose because only one can survive; who would you want to save, your wife or the pregnancy? That woman wants to save herself. Other women may choose to save the pregnancy. It's a real life dilemma. All your hypothesis up there 👆 make no sense in the context of the op. |

Double0h7:Mention what could make a doctor give such options. |

Double0h7:You are just a noise maker. You claim that I didn't understand what the poster is talking about. I asked you to explain what the poster is talking about. You simply said that a doctor could tell people to choose between the life of a pregnant woman and the baby in her womb. I simply asked you to mention what could make a doctor give such options. Your inability to mention what could push a doctor into giving the options simply means that you yourself do not know what the post is talking about. |

She can still have more biological children, but the baby can't have more biological mothers. So it's obvious as to who to save and a baby is not deemed a legal subject until it's born. |

The woman in labor. She is the one that is seen by the doctors (obstetrician) at the time as such, her life should be given utmost priority. If she is alive, she can have another baby all things been equal. |

immortalcrown:oga it's obvious u ain't even married, probably u don't even have a girlfriend. I am very sure cos if u have a wife u will understand, it's even better the wife lives n d baby goes if that's d last option because she can still give birth to many afterwards n besides y will u want to lose someone u have known for years over someone u just wanna know. If u have witnessed sceneries where d mother dies n d baby lives u will pity d baby n d father,so who will babysit at night? Who will attend to d baby in d middle of d night? Many of u go just come here dey type plenty grammar on top Wetin u no understand Though none is good but if worst come to worst make them save d mama first |

Sharpsharp00123:Madam, it is obvious that your argument is baseless. Otherwise, specify what can push a doctor to ask people to choose between a pregnant woman and the baby in her womb. Many of you will just come online to make noise and try to use sentiments to suppress facts. |

immortalcrown:Why don't you ask Google? Let me do it for you: Preeclampsia/Eclampsia: These conditions can cause severe complications like seizures and organ damage, requiring immediate intervention to save the mother's life, which may involve terminating the pregnancy. Certain Cancers: Some cancer treatments may be incompatible with the fetus's survival, requiring a choice between the mother's life and the fetus's, potentially involving termination of the pregnancy. |
