To some extent, playing fellow African teams has always proven to be harder for the SE. Russia hammered Zambia and we drew same Russia but if we play same Zambia, we might draw them. New Zealand just recently beat Ivoire coast but that same New Zealand can't beat the SE.

No disrespect to Evra but he is talking off tangent. I think he drank before that speech.

Starting off:

Evra said no creativity. That is totally not true
We have super creative players today. Has Evra watched Pedri play ball? Has watched Lamal skip past players. What of Desire Doue or Barcola.

He is talking off point.

Today, Ederson is more skillful than any defender or defensive midfielder that kept under Alex Ferguson. So who are the robots. He is talking playing direct football. It could work in the past, not today with how compact people defend.

Today, defensive midfielders are as skillful as 10s. Watch Nico Gonzalez on the ball. Today, right backs can play in midfield during games. Is that robotic? The talk is just a rant that makes no point.

Look at this Doku clip and tell me it is robotic. Also look at the defences he is playing against. See how tight it is. Is that what direct long ball football will work?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPIpAbcfexA

Today football is far better and even more skillful. It is just that defences are now tighter and it looks like the players are not skillful. Defenders today are also faster.
Why are you bringing out all these clips, making case for players' dribbling skills,
I thought u said players can no longer skip pass defenders whenever we mention how R9 use to skip pass defenders.

By the way,all these things are just basic skills, players repeating same skills we have seen countless times.
No player that can really come out with peculiar or some special skills nit seen before that can wow fans and spectators.

Juve are in a similar position to Man U the difference is that Man U is still the second biggest club in the world.
how? Juve participated in this season’s UCL and they’ll be there next season they will also be at the club World Cup. How are they in the same situation?

You are confused.

For some who could not understand the terminology of consistency with regards to world 🌎 class.

I used the comparison of VO to Martinez in Inter-Milan who was consistently scoring above 20 goals for three seasons has also been a Capocannoniere award winner 🏆. But nobody really calls him world 🌍 class.

I did not say Martinez is BETTER than VO just more consistent in Seria A.
Baba rest jare, hold your L-autaro and move on... This one is a dead and lost argument already. You just dey repeat one thing since like DJ Kaywise.

After all the talk about Ejuke and he does not get an invitation, that might be what is making you uncomfortable.
Chidera Ejuke is the most technical of all S.E players.

His day is at hand.
Sorry
I don't think he will get invited anytime soon
That ship has sailed
Man has even lost his starting place in Sevilla

Meliforme:
A player who rose to the status of being Europe's top dribbler is not an upgrade to Moses Simon?
None of our forward can handle the game of passes, the way Ejuke does. He plays his passes like a midfielder, even in tight spaces.

His problem sometimes can be showboating.
And the compulsion to impress.

Chidera Ejuke has the skills
He should realise that without responsibility and leadership, even the most skillful will amount to nothing.

He needs the doggedness, the presence and the fight to assert his influence.
This is his major challenge..

Now that Osihmen's transfer saga to Saudi has been laid to rest. I must commend his "O yes men". For the 2nd season in a row, they have given him a sound advice on how to navigate the ADL crooked mafiasso method. They have always taught Osi how to give the man the middle finger. They are not really as dumb as Bleep as some monikers made us to believe. They are the MVP. The O YES MEN, I hail oh. Osihmen should surround himself with more of them.

I disagree
In recent times Portugal, Croatia trashed us
European & top South American teams tend to be more difficult for us

EXCL | Jordan #Torunarigha to Hamburger SV is considered to be a done deal!

A full agreement has now been reached about a free transfer of the 27 y/o center-back. Medical scheduled for this week.

Anderlecht, Marseille and Köln were recently seriously interested. Kuntz/Costa convinced him to join #HSV.

NFF is considêring to switch to the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, while the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo will be pausêd following coach Eric Chelle request to change super Eagles Nigeria home matches stadium 🏟️ ( location)

It's still under consideration, no final decision is made yet.

Eric Chelle mãde this request, and reasons is best known to him. Recall that Gernot Rohr former super Eagles coach also requested same thing before he's contract ended.

The problem is our coaches want to olay sofiq ismail as a defender when he us actually a winger. As a winger he crosses well. So our coaches should please stop putting him anywhere un defence. It won't work. The young man can't defend so save his life. He is good when crossing the ball

what we are witnessing is a decline in Moses Simon. If folks could go watch him at the 2019 nations cup. The contrast is stark and very alarming.

Honestly I personally will love it if we can move our home games away from Uyo. It's a shame Uyo stadia is the best we have currently, but the heart breaking bad luck experienced by the super eagles is something we should also not overlook.
