Honestly I personally will love it if we can move our home games away from Uyo. It's a shame Uyo stadia is the best we have currently, but the heart breaking bad luck experienced by the super eagles is something we should also not overlook.
Hmmmn

Please always ignore stories from Facebook that aren't sourced. Most of these stories, particularly in Facebook are fabrications. They are mostly click baits. It's why you'll notice they don't link any source of reference whatsoever to give their story credibility.

That CHAN dey follow spoil our main team ranking seff. Them dey calculate am as Super Eagles... Make them create another ranking for them na 😑
U can't pick up 7 points out of 18 in World Cup qualifiers and be complaining about CHAN team spoiling ur ranking. CHAN team defeated Ghana at home and drew away, how are they to blame for anything?

NFF is considêring to switch to the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, while the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo will be pausêd following coach Eric Chelle request to change super Eagles Nigeria home matches stadium 🏟️ ( location)

It's still under consideration, no final decision is made yet.

Eric Chelle mãde this request, and reasons is best known to him. Recall that Gernot Rohr former super Eagles coach also requested same thing before he's contract ended.

Saw this on Facebook...
What could be the rationale for this?

lol I no be ndah fan…but looking at d 90minutes he played in our friendly game,he was just dere, same with akpoguma,he didn’t give us dt agu vibe, aside dt ,for chelle not to av used him in d last 2 wcq ,still not inviting him again for dis recent friendlies despite watching him at trainings in d last wcq says a lot . maybe he didn’t impress chelle…at least Ogbu was invited again despite report saying he was injured in d last 2wcq (reason for not playing)

I just watched our highlights with SA where we drew 1-1.

We are definitely going to beat them judging by the highlights though

Though news has been debunked. I would say maybe the travel logistics to Uyo make it a bit more difficult. Direct international flights can get to Lagos (Abeokuta is close by) and of course Abuja. That would save time instead of having to hop on another domestic flight to get to Uyo.

aside 2019 Afcon, since 2017 we have always been coming close to beating SA, but we always unluckily fall to a draw.
-The (2016) 2-2 in uyo, musa was just throwing away so many one on one goals
- The(2018) 1-1 in Jo’burg, same nearly nearlt with so many clear cut chances, but we were just throwing them away..
-the (2024) finidi 1-1, same waste waste waste upon waste…..
Im not going to raise my expectations in september, b super eagles should be able to best them, whether dey are in form or not

Why are you bringing out all these clips, making case for players' dribbling skills,
I thought u said players can no longer skip pass defenders whenever we mention how R9 use to skip pass defenders.

By the way,all these things are just basic skills, players repeating same skills we have seen countless times.
No player that can really come out with peculiar or some special skills nit seen before that can wow fans and spectators.
Let me repeat myself. I said we don't get to see flair and skills like we used to see in the past because tactical defending has advanced and defenders are now better than those in the past.

What I am pointing out is how ridiculous Evra sounds saying there is no creativity in today's game, especially players playing under Guardiola. It is not true and I have shown with clips that his statement is false.

I did not say you will see skills that you have not seen before. I said there is still mad creativity.

Finito.

Our players are the problem not the stadium there is this casual approach to the game they need to change and it’s not this present set of eagles that’s been having this problem, even if we move the game to another stadium it’s still the same players. Our players must play for the entire 90 mins with same zeal and commitment

You still need logistics to move players from Lagos to Abeokuta. If logistics is really the issue then play the game either in Lagos or Abuja where direct international flights are

🚨 Betis 🇪🇸 wants to relaunch Samuel Chukwueze 🇳🇬 !
Lacking playing time at AC Milan, the Nigerian winger is reportedly on the cards of Betis, who are reportedly looking to relaunch him. The La Liga club has already made inquiries!

The guardiola system does not encourage individual brilliance or thought. Players are slaves to a system that is drilled into them that it becomes muscle memory. Receive the ball, move, pass, positional interchange, apply pressure, move pass....A brilliant system but with flaws. When defending a high press or a counter attack, when possession is recycled in their favor, rather than hoofing the ball to safety, muscle memory kicks in. In an attempt to pass the ball out of the 18 yard box they lose possession and concede. This occured on more than 5 occasions last season and proved costly.

The same studium and logistics that the team used and qualified for this year's AFCON and other tourneys before that. You can't fault the stadium.

Abeokuta is close enough to Lagos, less than 2 hour drive. Abuja definitely is better, logistics wise.
