Expected of a proud inlaw. Senegal is not small but are they bigger than England?

I am impressed they didnt need Sadio Mane in the lineup to achieve this result.

Can we achieve same without Osimhen?
Yes we can with a good coach. Our 9layers are competent. If we focus on tactics we can. Just one idea. Get chidera ejuke to win a penalty and a red card with his dribbling skills. Leverage on cyriel dessers in attack. Play well, close down the opponents. Stuff like this happens. It's football. Get sofiq ismail to cross. I k ow a lot of people do t rate the okayers I mentioned but this is TACTICS TACTICS TACTICS. TACTICS and what exactly a okayer can do trumps where he plays. Football is a team sport and not an individual sport. It's about how the okayers move and synchronizer with each other

It's about england losing to an African country... Whether na friendly or not

Have you heard English press speak of three lions before??
If you knew how they hype anything from England, you'll understand my happiness for this loss😂
After the hype, they should justify their hype by winning a major trophy like WC and EURO.

England is beatable by any good team at any time.
If Nigeria beat England, it won't surprise me much,
it's only when we bea teams like France,Spain,Germany and Brazil.

Truidstarr:
The guardiola system does not encourage individual brilliance or thought. Players are slaves to a system that is drilled into them that it becomes muscle memory. Receive the ball, move, pass, positional interchange, apply pressure, move pass....A brilliant system but with flaws. When defending a high press or a counter attack, when possession is recycled in their favor, rather than hoofing the ball to safety, muscle memory kicks in. In an attempt to pass the ball out of the 18 yard box they lose possession and concede. This occured on more than 5 occasions last season and proved costly.
Watch Bernardo Silva in this clip and watch the games for Manchester City, you will clearly see individual brilliance and that is under Pep.

France - Absolutely strong

Spain - Absolutely strong

Germany - Very very solid

Brazil - at the moment, they are rubbish. But I think with time under Carlo, they will find a rhythm. BUT RIGHT NOW, Brazil is Sh**te

Exactly why the result is a big deal.

Saka was there. Same as Kane, Bellingham, Rice. England's first ever loss to an African side at senior level.

Funny how Ebere Eze had to be present for this. Lol

That team dey swallow Nigeria players, Taiwo was good enough to excel at Milan,
Taribo was good enough, though Taribo claimed the club refuse to start him because of Maldini's influence even though he was performing better, I don't know if it's true.

I don't trust that club with Onyedika, any other serious Italian club like Atalanta, Roma and Inter is preferable to me,but if he goes there and performs well, then it's just some Nigerian players being at the right place at the wrong time.

CIV - defending Champs
Morocco - Host
Nigeria
Senegal
South Africa
Egypt
Algeria

Mali
Cameroun
DR Congo

Time will tell but we are always going to be in the conversation as potential winners. The pedigree is never lacking and by December 2025, Chelle and the Super Eagles will be different Animals.

Senegal didn't beat Sudan in March this year. Also had to draw with Ireland, days ago. But here they are wiping the floor with England. Football is not maths.

The players are not the problem. The problem is the coach that picks the players.
Players don't pick themselves for matches, they don't invite themselves.
They don't even determine tactics.
In our last match in uyo the players were more of the problem and even the match prior also in uyo. Our boys are too pedestrian at home.

The second goal against England by Senegal was a beauty to behold. They thought a cross was coming only for the player to place the ball in between the legs of the keeper.

Based on recent results, they may seem trash, but when it comes to serious competitions, all those countries that defeated them on friendlies won't beat them, they have only lost to Argentina and Paraguay in a competitive match recently.

Brazil team will always be a force to scare any team especially teams outside South America.

Are u sure our current team can beat them,
our current team and Brazil are going through the same thing, their situation is even better than ours.

Almost all South American teams always give us problems, they play us the same way Ghana play us.
The only South American team I care about beating is Argentina, not on friendlies,in a WC match.

France,
Spain,
Germany.

You see these five countries, no matter how bad they may be,we winning them in competitive match will most likely to be by luck or by grace of God.

Taiwo own too surprise me. He joined them when he was at the top of his game and was seriously considered at Liverpool but he choose the Milan giants only to flop woefully 🤦‍♀️
