Our FIFA Ranking will go back to 43 as Ivory Coast's loss to New Zealand dealt a heavy blow on their ranking and drops them three spots down. Now one spot below Nigeria 😁 |

yinkeys:Same thing was said on here 2 and half years ago when Senegal beat Brazil in a friendly. Senegal got knocked out by CIV in the Round of 16. Friendly matches is not a yardstick to measure how a team will perform at a tournament. |

Manchester United are evaluating an offer for Napoli's Nigeria striker Victor Osimhen, 26, using Netherlands forward Joshua Zirkzee, 24, as part of the deal. (Gazzetta dello Sport - in Italian), external |

According to the Match schedule, we dont meet Senegal until perhaps the final if both teams go all the way after finishing tops in both Groups C and D (or both finish 2nd). The only way we meet them earlier is to finish 2nd in Group C and and they finish Top of Group D for a possible meet in the Quarters if both overcome their Round of 16 opponents. Or we top Group C and they finish 2nd in Group D. Now, if the Quarters scenarios happen, how do we avoid them? By refusing to leave the dressing room abi? 😂 Or you have forgotten home battles are the toughest. Look, Morocco stunned all at the World Cup going all the way to the semis. They were touted as potential Afcon champs even by me at the very next Afcon (Afcon 2023 held in early 2024) BUT CRASHED OUT in the round of 16 losing to South Africa 2-0. Senegal were also hot at that Afcon but it was a rejuvenated CIV that knocked them out in the second round - Round of 16. Our African reps (including Nigeria) may shine on the global scene but when we all come back to the continent, we understand it is a bloody battle to be Number 1 because among the big boys, anyone is as strong as the other. yinkeys: |

Oga do your work joor. Even if you see news linking all the Super Eagles Stars to Man Utd and e get decent sources, post am like that!!! Afterall, we know not all links turn concrete, not all interests or rumors turn into actual offers, and not all talks turn into "here we go" charlesemeka85: |

Meliforme:Some of those players are hot favourites o and they themselves know if they are dropped people will start shouting for their return. Most times we are the blaming the coach unfairly. It’s difficult for any Nigerian coach foreign or local to stop inviting certain players even if they don’t play with enough commitment and zeal in the national colours |

Danielnino00:We are tired of evaluation, sign the player. What is a club that is at the bottom of the league table evaluating 🤔. |

Galatasaray bagging Leroy Sane. Not bad. But they will need to sign more than Sane in defence and midfield this time if they hope to try convince Osimhen to remain in Istanbul. Personally, I appreciate the love and support they showed him but I hope Osimhen doesnt stay at GALA. His Prime years talents belong in the top 5 leagues with the top clubs. |

TheGoodJoe, Kevin "De Brains" to Napoli is confirmed. The Belgian Mastermind takrs his midfield chance creating talents to Italy. Una fit jam sef for the UCL depending on how the league phase draws go. |
