Fortunately they are very docile and shy. The avoid humans as much as they can.

...as with most snakes. Apart from the mad ones like Cobras and Mambas. I always I increase my distance to anywhere I see any snake to a minimum of 50 meters radius.

This is not a boomslang, though it looks like a female or juvenile boomslang and you won't find boomslang in cars. That's a house snake called Dekay's brown snake. Generally harmless and safe, so no need to fear or kill them.

At least dey do your research before commenting. Google dekay Brown snake and see if they look anything like it. You just use Google lens confuse yourself.


Bears are found in the woods, does that mean you can't find one in your kitchen scavenging for food?

Snakes are found in bushes, does that mean you can't find one in your house?

And what makes you think you can't find a snake in your car? The warmth of the engine might have attracted the snake it in turn found its way to the vents. It could also be a dirty car and the snake might have been attracted to rodents or the smell of rodent poo.

That snake is a juvenile cape boomslang.
