if only you knew how far Shehu Sani has been in the play of things in the Democratic process of Nigeria. He among many are those who forgot the military government/rule in this country and were sought after to be killed and even went on exile. Shehu has come a long way, he deserves it.

While other far Northerners stayed off the struggle for the June 12 elections struggles back in the 1990s, Senator Shehu Sani was arrested by Sani Abacha's military junta and locked up for his relentless support of the pro-democracy movement.

He is CLEARLY one of the top 3 Fulanis that I trust on Earth for their noble deeds in speaking up as and when due against atrocious acts even those committed by his own foreign and local Fula kinsmen, NOT the ilk of Nasir El-Rufai or Atiku Abubakar who openly make verbal gaffes at critical turning points from the horrendous support given to killer foreign Fula herdsmen and bandits in Southern Kaduna to the Sokoto-based girl who was set ablaze by a student and Atiku Abubakar couldn't even take a stand with his deleted online message on the issue, etc.

A well-deserved one for all the struggles of Comrade Shehu Sani back in the 1990s and BIG congrats to him and Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State who was ALSO a member of the pro-democracy movement. I appreciate these rare men of valor from the far North of Nigeria. They stood firm when the propaganda machinery of the corrupt military dictators using NTA and the so-called ministers of information to mislead the public that this movement was ONLY a Yoruba pro-democracy movement when infact folks from nearly all regions of Nigeria were involved in the struggle.

Only Senator Shehu Sani stood up to Buhari in the senate. Then they bundled him out of the seat. Almost every other stomach infrastructure activist waited for Buhari to leave office before they rebooted.
Give Senator Shehu Sani his flowers. He is a true democrat. He doesn't believe anyone who is not from his region or religion should be put to death or kept away from the basic necessities of life. In almost every regard that matters, El Rufai showed himself bereft of humanity. Truth has to be told, on behalf of the unprotected masses of Southern Kaduna. Their blood will NEVER be swept under the carpet.

I fully agree.
Nigeria 🇳🇬 is multi ethnic, multi religious, cosmopolitan. Though he is an imperfect human being, Senator Shehu Sani has stood with and for all sections of Nigeria, boldly demanded good governance - he is one of the microscopic few who spoke boldly during Buhari's 8 years of calamitous misrule. He basically endangered his life and limb to stand up for his convictions.
Give the man his flowers.
