WASTE OR PRIORITY? 🇳🇬

The Nigerian government recently spent ₦39 billion to renovate the International Conference Centre (ICC) in Abuja.

But here’s the shocking part:
The ICC originally cost just ₦240 million to build in 1991. Even after adjusting for inflation, this renovation cost is still disproportionately high — and deeply concerning.

What could ₦39 billion have done instead for the people of Abuja and beyond?

👉🏾 Build 100+ Fully Equipped Primary or Secondary Global Standard Schools (At ₦350 million each)

👉🏾 Upgrade Infrastructure in Public Schools
Over 100 classrooms renovated, toilets fixed, and learning materials provided

👉🏾 Upgrade & Equip 30+ Primary Healthcare Centres to highest standard (At ₦1 billion per centre)

👉🏾 Provide Clean Water Access to, at least, 300,000+ Nigerians (With boreholes and water projects in urban and rural communities)

📌 This is not just about numbers: It’s about priorities.
Instead of investing in education, healthcare, and water, which are the essentials for a better life, billions are being spent on buildings while citizens lack the basics.

It's time to hold leaders accountable and demand better use of our collective resources.
Let governance work for the people, not just for prestige, clout, and self-aggrandisement.

This is the more reason the coalition should organize themselves. We need to recover all these loots and jail all the thieves.

When you see Tinubu supporters shouting infrastructure and how Tibubu has made Nigeria a huge construction ground, if you are not living in Nigeria you may think it is already close to Dubai in infrastructural development.

They shout as if the only thing Tinubu came to do as president was to share money to states and embark on overinflated projects....

They could also have shared 1 billion each to his political goons.
This present government is not about the betterment of Nigeria and it's people as a whole. We are all just wasting our time. What we need is to spread information and mobilization towards 2027 and pray and hope that a good consensus candidate would emerge.
