If you conduct a survey on everyone you know, you would mostly discover that they have been told at some point that they were meant to be great persons.

So there's nothing special when you hear it afresh from a clergyman/clergywoman.

It's an old format designed to make you feel that you have been subdued and dominated by enemies and hence, you're now being rescued to greatness by the clergyman/clergywoman.

The true God gave all humans one task and it's stated in the first Bible book:

“Be fruitful and become many, fill the earth and subdue it, and have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and every living creature that is moving on the earth" Genesis 1:28

This is what we can call the DESTINY of all humans anything else comes along with rebellion against God who gave us a simple and straightforward task that will bring lasting peace and security!

We each weave our individual destiny by way of our thoughts, ideas, decision and actions. There is no removing of the individual from the outcome. My destiny is determined by my thoughts , resolves and actions.🤔
