This is the kind of question one expects opposition parties to be asking.
Tinubu is coming back in 2027 because of selfishness of the opposition not willing to support anybody but himself.
Imagine a GEJ/Sule Lamido ticket against Tinubu/Shetima ticket with Obi in PDP's camp.
Immediately, cracks and realignments will begin among the political heavyweights.
North don't need to like GEJ, but, he is imperative to the automatic return of power to the North in four years time. GEJ Four years - that's the North's sacrifice.
Sule Lamido's popularity? He may not be popular as Elrufai, Kwonkoso et al., but he has no baggages, and his achievements in Jigawa are still visible up till now.
Also, with GEJ ticket na ICC go settle Tinubu and Wike rift, the betrayal will be unprecedented, just has the friendship has been.

Regurgitating silly rhetorics that has no effect on the common man, that's what agbado bandits are known for.

Your so-called Band A and B has always been there. There has always been areas which receive longer time for power than other areas. The only thing your government did was to increase the cost of electricity in those areas, and then lump the areas together under "Bands". This doesn't mean they now get more power, it has always been the same.
I believe you’re referring to the Premium Power Agreements (PPA) that existed before the introduction of the bands system, particularly Band A. Speaking as a consumer who has experienced both PPA and now Band A, I can confidently say that significantly more consumers are currently on Band A than were on PPA. So, the claim that the government merely grouped areas together without expanding coverage is simply not accurate.
To further support my point, consider this: how many areas were covered under PPA compared to Band A? This information is publicly available, and if you took the time to review it, you wouldn’t be promoting misleading narratives.
Is the system better now? Absolutely. Can it improve further? Definitely. Finally, the Band A system is more scalable and adaptable than the old PPA model.

Nigerians are difficult people to lead Both the literates and illiterates.

Imagine this coming from a doctor who suppose to reason rationally.

Did the problems of electricity started from Tinubu regime.

On the contrary, electricity has even improved during Bola Tinubu's reign than any previous government before him

Even if PBAT spends eight years, the current infrastructure level cannot guarantee 24 hour power in Nigeria, especially from.the grid.

A huge percentage of Nigerians in Urban centres are currently off-grid through the solar revolution.
If he was aware of this, why making the statement?

You think we have time to waste listening to nonsense?

Common you people should be serious as adults.

Power supply has significantly improved nationwide, particularly in Band A areas, which represent about 15% of the market but consume 40% of the total energy output, along with some Band B areas. However, unless electricity rates reflect true market costs, over 80% of the market will continue to experience unreliable power. The president should take the bold step of fully deregulating the power sector. Despite existing subsidies, the disruptions caused by inconsistent supply far outweigh the benefits of cheap, subsidized electricity. The entire market must be metered, with all consumers charged rates that accurately reflect the cost of supply. Power can be made available to everyone, but it comes at a cost. Moreover, as Band A areas expand, economies of scale could drive prices down, making electricity more affordable over time.
On what basis/scale did you posit Nigeria electricity is cheap to consumers

Using the Band B rate, Nigeria, alongside Ghana, has one of the lowest electricity tariffs in West Africa.

If you are having any thought about Nigeria getting steady electricity ⚡ better forgo it. Nigeria as a country cannot achieve steady electric in 3 life times. It is not about changing leaders, it about the foundations and structure of the country. The country is structured in a way that ensures that nothing concrete can be achieved in a straight forward way. Coupled with the ethnic and regional squabbles that go on in different administrations

it still doesnt addup, if you are comparing two countries, currencies will be the main scale but even at that we cant get a true value cos of value rate and inflation

for instance in america, You might hear a friend say he pays $200 for monthly electricity ... someone like you dash to your calculator n scream Nepa is cheap in 9ja

But thats not how to look at it, the average minimum monthly salary in the US is 5,455 the propensity to pay $200 in Us is soft

$200 in Nig is #320,000 whereas minimum wage is just 70k, people on band B in Nig pay as low 20k weekly × 4 its over monthly minimum wage ... so where is cheap huh

Why should people be killed on a daily in Benue and he can't halt the trend as the C in C?
He should be kicked out through the ballot box come 2027.

you guys are funny, this man is a master of rhetoric, while making that statement he knew he was not going to keep the promise, that is why he put in the caveat, 'unless I give you adequate reasons' ,the reasons he already jotted down before making the speech
Tinubu is an expert manipulator
He will surely give his adequate reasons when the time comes
Or pull something like the rice pyramid or Nigerian air on the gullible Nigerians close to the elections and will say ureka , I have found the solution, I told you, I have delivered on my promise, you should elect me, and if Nigerians unfortunately falls for that, sorry will be their names because, the moment he is re elected ,the magic will disappear and they will return to their darkness era

The comparison is between Nigeria and other West African countries, not Nigeria and the USA. West African nations share more similar socio-economic conditions with Nigeria, including comparable average household income ranges.

May Nigeria happen to you for this thing you have just typed! Since you have nothing better to say that trying to excuse the inexcusable!

Electricity is the easiest thing to settle. The reason there is no constant electricity in Nigeria is because they don't want you to have constant electricity in Nigeria. What about the abysmal state of Nigerian roads? Why is a road like benin- auchi -lokoja - abuja road now totally unmotorable? That still remains the shortest most economically viable link between the north and the south yet is currently totally unmotorable yet they chase white elephants which they will never catch and people like you always rise up and sow dissent in the voice of the masses anytime they are being criticised for their ineptitude! What is wrong with you?

Problem with power in Nigeria is that most people don't pay a cost reflective tarrif.

No cost reflective tarrifs, no new investment, no money for improvements and expansion

Been saying this since 2013, and will keep saying this.
