First of all no one will insult you, Naija is in a despicable state right now, so any legitimate japa move is welcome cool cool cool

Right now, Japa is all about affordability and visa success rate, they're some countries in Europe aside the ones you mentioned above that still makes sense for your profile like Croatia, Italy, Hungary, Lithuania, Latvia & Romania.

All these countries are in the Shenghen Zone and you can secure undergraduate admission regardless of your age but most of BSc courses are not English taught, meaning you'd have to learn the language of the country.

But Nigerians on instagram seem to be living the life even better than most of us abroad.

no age limit to learn anywhere in the world. But you need to defend why you choose now to get the degree, this has to be an experience over the years which prompt you to further more to gain more knowledge and apply it where needed. So your CV has to align with your course of study, they don't expect you to be jobless over the years and your statement has to tick 5 things.

1. Your introduction
2. Why the course
3. Why the university
4. Why the country
5. Post study plan.

No school will take you serious without previous experience in relation to the course of which will be on your CV . You can try France

Iceland offers some undergraduate studies, as well as post graduate diploma course for free. And they are taught in English.

I'm 42yrs old, and relocating to Iceland via study route for a 3yr bsc program. By September, I should be in Iceland by God's grace. Just paid my registration fee, and other payables. Currently waiting for my resident permit.

It depends. If you're going alone or with family. Iceland requires a minimum of ISK 240,000 per month. And that's around 2.9m to 3m naira. So if you calculate for 12 calendar months that's about 36m to 37m naira.
In my case as at the time I was arranging my pof, the naira was really low I needed about 40m.

So to answer your question, you will need between 36m-40m give or take.

Abeg, is there hope for someone with third class or is there any other way to travel there. The pof is not an issue.

I just want to start making plans, no time.

Huge amount of money but the purpose of education is to make money. 40m in cash I will multiple it by two within years if I shun education. China is the key

That too is another interesting way to look at it. But what if you don't have 40m cash. This kind of thing, as much as having funds is important, but having the right info is key. It will save you a lot.

If you are looking at migrating to Iceland via study route, here are some tips I believe will be helpful. At least these were how I went about pursuing mine.

1. Look for an English taught course (note: as at this moment, tuition is free for majority of courses both those taught in English or Icelandic)

2. Have your IELTS sorted
3. Have your certificates and transcript ready
4. Send in your application as soon as the school starts receiving application

Once you receive your admission letter,

5a. Pay the following: registration fee, resident permit fee, and medical insurance.

5b. Get your police clearance certificate
6. Apply for resident permit

7. Send the required documents via DHL to Iceland immigration services. You will be sent a checklist of the documents you're required to submit.

8. Then you can proceed to register for student accommodation where you will be placed in queue. And when it's your turn, you will be assigned or allocated your chosen or available accommodation. After which you will be required to make a deposit, and subsequently...

@bolded, the richest Americans also live in America, the richest Britons also live in Britain, the richest Italians as well, same as the French, Spaniards, Russians, Chinese, Japanese and Australians. The richest of any group usually live primarily in their home country.

Oh, I understand. What about the language barrier, did you learn their language and also, how about job prospects. Don't be offended, I'm interested in trying it, just that I'm thinking of combination of schooling while working too.

No offense bro.
90% of the population speak and understand English. Though speaking and understanding Icelandic has it's advantages.

There are job prospects. Cost and standard of living is quite high, though the high earning potential balances out everything.

And yes you can definitely combine schooling with working. However, as a student, you're only entitled to 20hrs per week to work.

Thanks bro for the info, for the registration fee and application did it take you up to a million naira plus, I saw the one for MS Computer Science , both application and registration fee were around 95,000 ISK which is close to a million naira, after doing the conversion.

Lastly , apart from the registration and application fees , are there other payments?
