98% of Nigerians wey japa go UK US and Canada will definitely not to better than they are doing if dem dey Nigeria.
Nigerians just like to complain,
-person wey dey earn 300k monthly salary for Nigeria go dey complain say e no get pass 300 pounds monthly savings/investment for UK.
-person wey dey spend 2hrs on d road to go from him house in ikorodu to office in Lekki every morning go reach UK dey complain say rent is much in London, and he cannot stay far away and drive 1hr to work everyday.

The only people with regrets about moving abroad are the people that didn't appreciate what God gave them in Nigeria and just decided to japa because it looks cool and abroad pictures dey enter their eyes. And people wey dey on that table no plenty.
Why contradiction...you said 98% at the begining and at the last you said Pepe wey dey that table no plenty ....

Are you a RONUIST?

Nigeria has many hidden opportunities. Take it or leave it. Just pray that God should keep you safe and secured. People are making their money here quietly without too much stress. Just know what you are doing.

Is there anywhere abroad that 200 human beings will be killed in a community in one night?

Be here arguing meaningless argument

If you see opportunity to japa, Japa fast o
is isreal and Ukriane not abroad ?

The U.S. also has the highest firearm suicide rate compared to other wealthy countries. And more women are killed by guns than in any peer nation. In 2019, firearms accounted for 10.4 deaths for every 100,000 people in the U.S., according to the Commonwealth Fund

Washington, D.C. has the highest firearms homicide rate at 28.5 per 100,000 residents.
Southern and Midwestern states like Mississippi, Louisiana, and Alabama also report high rates.

While I'm Europe....Sweden has the highest rate of gun homicides in Europe. While many European countries have seen a decline in overall homicide rates, Sweden has experienced a notable increase in gun-related homicides since 2005, particularly among young adults and males, according to research from Brottsförebyggande rådet (Brå). This increase has led to Sweden having a higher rate of gun homicide than many other European countries

It isn't even hidden it's open

Do you know that I run an online firm in Nigeria...no client has ever visited my office and they don't even care to visit all you have to do is be intentional, be honest and have superb customer relations

.....as of this early morning I have gotten two orders and I know the profit .I mean still laying on my bed !

A country of over 200 million people buying things everyday let's say they buy things of 1000 Naira everyday which is more do the maths ..that's about two hundred billion everyday exchanging hands that's just N1000 naira on daily basis which an average nigeria spends not less than N3000 which is six hundred billion naira daily

That's how huge the market is...that why Asians are here doing business making a killing that's Hy Igbo are making a killing trading

If you want to make it in Nigeria...create a job that's it! Create a value ! Even if it's selling noodles in a cost place and clean place, give it a fact name and package it well you will make it !

I know a woman that sells Akara only at Ikeja, an Igbo woman...she has her own house in Lagos here, HS cars and kids trained ! That's comfort and this is what abroad people can't afford to own unless via credit ! Thy can't even afford the luxury of owning their own business and having their own destinies in their hand...thy must work for pay he k for person earning hourly wages ! To me that's slavery

Abroad people that

People that buy boxers on credit cards
Buy phones on credit cards
Buy cars on down payments
They can't even build a decent house...but live in a house made of woods and yet pay heavily for mortgage..and pray they don't get sick so that repossession and foreclosure will not happen

They can't even train their kids or shout at them...or the kids will report them to the police !

Many Nigerians relocated abroad not primarily for economic reasons but for security.

Security of lives and properties of the citizens top the chart in the duties of the government to her people...

But in Nigeria,it comes last and their reelection comes first

Is there an enabling environment to access these opportunities, without security you can't do nothing.

Some times i go to work 5 times a month.... And I still pay two years rent upfront.... Nothing concern me with doing two jobs.... Omo naija sweet....i get 24/7 electricity and internet for house....

This is a proof that money is not everything. Money can be made in Nigeria. But there are levels of comfort that money can never guarantee in Nigeria. Some poor people abroad are more comfortable than some rich people in Nigeria.

People like you are never positioning to be innovators .. Always positioning to be workers... Cleaning toilets... See what you have reduced yourself to. Its a shame... Why don't you admire high level jobs too in the abroad.. Jobs that require you to have critical thinking skills... You don't... Cause you are a worker... And can never be na innovator..... .
budaatum:
You can at least go get a job cleaning toilets for minimum wage abroad.

In Naija, the options are the dehumanising beg or steal or ignorant prayer!

That’s the moment you probably have regrets in the first place

But you need to cure it with a missing rationale for the Japa

The Nigerian government is bleeped. We all know that. Make God your security in Nigeria. Take precautions. If your spirit tells you not to go out, don't go out. I still maintain that there are lots of opportunities in Nigeria. Go and ask the Lebanese and Asians. Cheers.

There is no substitute for the dignity, beauty, and joy of living in your home country/culture.

There are no Nigerians that prefer being abroad. They're abroad because multiple countries and 1% entities are constantly stealing from Nigeria and undermining its government. They are not immigrants, they're refugees of neocolonialism and oligarchs.

On the most basic level, no country besides another African nation or black Caribbean nation can be as pleasant as Nigeria. Nonblacks are not attractive or pleasant to live around, work with, and do business with. Their cultures are boring and lame. Their food and music are garbage. They pollute your children's mind with their various kinds of depravity. They erode your culture. Your grandchildren may not even speak Yoruba/Igbo/etc. Worse, they could be mixed race.
God forbid, make bandit catch you, you go forget dignity.

Make pokice show you shege on top ya own property, you go understand.

Everything in Naija is weaponized against Nigerians. Education, health, food, security, transportation........

I dey Naija o, but na by God's grace I dey survive.

I'm not poor by any metric, but living in Naija is a challenge.

However, I'm not leaving, mostly because of my age. My kids? That's another matter. THEY can leave. I'll encourage them to.

I am not disputing your claim that opportunities abounds in Nigeria.

Are you insinuating that those who left the country abroad Left because of lack of opportunities..

Let me tell you that, here in Nigeria, you will have financial resources, still you will not be able to live comfortably.

Many things are not in order in this country,.
.
No good healthcare system.
No good education for your children.
No good roads
Insecurity

Opportunities abounds everywhere, it's better you access those opportunities where you can have the value and not where it is valueless

Breaking Nigeria into pieces is not the solution..

Those that went their separate ways are still Nigerians.

They will still continue with the old habits they have.Old habits die hard

You're right about the waiting list, but the other factors such as weed and prostitution are rampant in Nigeria as well. Lagos, Benin, Asaba etc.

Nawa for some of you o

You think been poor abroad is a joke?
I am based in Switzerland, what you think is poor here is better than what most middle class Iive in Nigeria. I visited an area termed more like a government supported or like council estate as the brits will call it. It was as clean as okoyi and matched par for par with it. Now add constant light, no generator noise, clean environment, parks, convenient stores and support from government.

Malaria drug is a luxury, dstv , air condition, 3 meals, iphone, stable power, police protection are luxury for the poor man in Nigeria.

Their is insecurity everywhere no matter how tigh4 the security is. Their is gun and stabbing issues in Western world. Also stealing in broad day light and nobody will stop the thief. My wife iphone 16 promax was snatched from her at a bus station. Thank God for insurance 2k pounds would have gone
