The feature is part of that platform's unique way of protecting the supposed privacy of users even though the United States Intelligence Agencies collaborate with these social media platforms on sharing intelligence. If you post anything obnoxious or detrimental to the internal security United States on X, you will be flagged down if you fly into the United States and risk being sent back on the same flight if what you posted randomly is deemed offensive.

A few years ago in the 2010s two British tourists were denied full entry into the United States from the airport simply because they bantered that they were gonna have a "bomb" in the United States. Bomb was used allegorically here for "having a great time in the United States." The story was all over the media outlets.

I’ve experienced a lot. Even tried my babe’s own and I was still restricted. I kinda like it cos why would someone screenshot another person photo without asking for permission?

I just tried it and it worked. Even the quality is ok, to a greater extent. The quality may be blurry, when an attempt is made to expand it to more than 100% of its original size.

lol…protecting you say? People post more personal, more recent pics of themselves in WhatsApp status than in DP. And statuses have no such restrictions. I think it’s a total stupid move to block that. Plus if someone really wanted the DP, grab another phone and take a pic of it. They can never block that

Facebook allows it I think and scammers use it to scam alot.
