The UK system empowers nonsense.

A subservient woman while in Nigeria will travel with her husband to UK, mingle with other Nigerian women who will teach her nonsense and next thing she goes home realizing she has rights she never had in Nigeria. That she can call the authorities and have the man leave the house even with false claims of abuse.

I know of a silly woman who a man brought to the UK. He has worked for years, paying his mortgage and all. She comes and has him thrown out and she takes possession of the house..just like that.

Children are not left out. They are taught in school that you cannot be beaten so they develop sharp tongues. Parents book holidays to Nigeria just to give their kids correct beating from accumulated misbehaviour.

Men...use your head when relocating!

Recommendation: If you must take your Nigerian wife abroad, agree on two things, howbeit, three. 1. If you are marrying her newly, sign a prenuptial agreement. That way, when she gets to Europe, America or UK, she will be careful.
2. If already married, put all your savings in a trust account with clear % for yourself, your children, and her. That way, when she tries to fleece or chase you out, the property reverts to the Trust company. When you divorce, the trust company will be dissolved and assets disposed and proceeds shared in proportion to the original agreed %.
Lastly, consult a lawyer before you invest in property. Preferably, make ownership clearly based on contributions. Otherwise buy it exclusively in your name or family Trust company name.

2. I did not say he was arrested after seven years. I said after the arrest, he was unable to get a job for seven years.

Why? because the arrest went on his record and would show up on any employment background check rendering him ineligible for work until it fell of after seven years. That is what he told me.
