The All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate on
Lagos Island local government, Prince Taiwo Oyekan has paid homage to the foremost Lagos King, His Imperial Majesty Oba Rilwan Babatunde Osuolale Aremu Akiolu at his Idunganran palace on Tuesday 17 June, 2025.

The visit follows the official presentation of APC flag to Prince Oyekan by the Lagos State chapter chairman of the party, Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi at its secretariat, Acme road, Ogba, Lagos.

Welcoming the APC chairmanship candidate, Oba Akiolu offered royal blessings for Prince Oyekan.

The royal father however charged
Prince Oyekan to serve Lagos Island residents diligently and offer qualitative governance upon assumption of office.
