They act like this is such a radical stance and that’s why I don’t argue with them anymore. There’s a reason even during wars, certain things are off limits. Humanitarian aid is allowed even to your enemies because we’re supposedly higher animals not savages. For fvck’s sake we had global conventions to determine what is humane vs inhumane during times of war/crisis and deviations from them could warrant international condemnation.
