Where did you see properties being destroyed? Removing billboard from the street mean property is being destroyed. The youths are doing well
Jaylord12:
Bringing down billboards and destroying properties will not do.

Tinubu has absolute nothing to offer, he seems confused like Iranian leader
Exactly. Tinubu has shown nothing but confusion since taking office. The economy is in tatters, he removed fuel subsidy without a proper cushioning plan, floated the naira into free fall, and inflation is choking Nigerians daily. No real social safety nets, no clear direction, just recycled headlines and hollow speeches. He surrounds himself with Mandate standers while the masses pay the price. Just like the Iranian leadership comparison heavy on theatrics, empty on substance. Nigerians deserve better than this trial and error leadership.

I see it as a situation where their politicians goes to the state level, collect their share of the cake and neglect the younger ones who have no opportunity at the state level, hence, they result to protest.

Any town where there's darkness have it at the back of your mind that there are people, most especially the chiefs and radical youths are benefitting from the system. I can swear with my life on that.

They have solar/generators in their houses and their children are based abroad so they don't care about others.

In 2027, it will be every well-meaning Nigerian VS Tinubu & INEC.

Tinubu is completely Clueless and grossly incompetent.
No levels at all.huh
Well-meaning Nigerians don't win elections in Nigeria. Structure of corruption and criminality do. And they are not usually well-meaning. Case study: Lagos and Rivers state in the 2023 presidential elections

Youths in Delta State have taken to the streets to destroy all of Tinubu's campaign billboards erected in different parts of the state.
Other politicians whose campaign posters align with Tinubu were not spared either including that the state governor.
The youths remained unfazed despite the presence of heavily armed military personnel in patrol vans, deployed on a mission to disperse them.

Their grievance is connected to the nationwide hardship and suffering as well as the lack of basic infrastructure such as electricity, potable water, and good roads. The youths are angry that after staging a peaceful protest over the absence of electricity in their community for more than 16 years the only response they received from the government was the deployment of heavily armed military officers to silence them rather than addressing the marginalization they have endured for years.
It's always funny how development doesn't reach such but when it's time for voting, election materials will get to them hitch free

In 2027 react in same way with your vote. Kick our APC
A fraction of the money to provide them power, good roads and healthcare will be shared to them.

The people you see will assume the position of police checkpoints and the politicians will bribe their way through even with contraband in their car boots.

I am still not convinced the Nigerian has been purged of his attitudinal sins towards his noble role as a nation builder. I still don't think the fire of sufferings is hot enough to turn his garri to eba. When it is we will all know.

Let them go and campaign in places that have the basic living conditions! You won’t find anywhere… Nigerian politicians are the most wicked set of thieves on earth.

Most of these politicians on their jeeps and escorts, don’t have motorable roads where they came from, nor electricity, even running water!

Yet they will mobilize boys (Mostly cultists) and arm them to go steal ballot boxes and other electoral anomaly.

Nigeria problem no start from today, it is good to protest for your right but not by destruction.
In life it is two ways it is either the situation pay you or it goes the other way round.
All those shouting vote dem out I just dey laugh. The truth is that tinubu will return for second term if he will complete the tenure that is between him and God ✔️

Basic living conditions?

Kwale is one of the most advanced villages I have ever stepped foot in Nigeria. Paved roads, good schools, constant electricity and literate people

Because of this post, I will never believe anything I see on Nairaland again

Nigeria problem is very easy to solve:
1.Let there be strong unity among Nigerians(shun tribalism).
2.Let Nigerians push for electoral reform laws that will make our elections transparent.let there be death penalty for any INEC official(from INEC Chairman to the least person in the commission) that derail from the electoral reform laws.
3.Let the youths be actively involved in politics,we can challenge the ruling class in the coming election.
4.Citizens must push for working law makers, when there are laws that bounds every Nigerian with automated penalty/watchdog penalty, Nigeria problems will start facing out gradually.

Where are the unity begging agbadorians who's new slogan is "We the south will vote Tinubu"? I hope the Southsouthern electorates are aware that they will vote Tinubu? It's 2 years into his tenure, Tinubu is not improving on his popularity, he's retrogressing. Only the politicians are decamping to secure their impending retirement.
