Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State has named a newly completed specialist hospital after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in recognition of his leadership and commitment to national development.

The Bola Ahmed Tinubu Specialist Hospital, unveiled on Thursday during the President’s visit to inaugurate key projects across the state, houses nine wings, including maternal and child health, radiology and imaging, intensive care, and special care units.

At the event, Governor Sani disclosed that the Nigerian Nuclear Regulatory Authority had approved the establishment of a cancer treatment and nuclear facility within the hospital complex.

He, however, appealed to President Tinubu to assist in actualising the cancer centre.

“That’s the only thing missing,” the governor said.

“We are seeking Mr President’s intervention to help us complete this critical component.”

In his response, President Tinubu praised the Kaduna governor for his vision and people-focused governance.

“We’ve witnessed progress. You prioritise people. It is only a far-sighted leader who cares about his people that can establish this for their health care needs. I am very proud of what you are doing,” he said.

“I can assure you that our intervention is not in vain, and we will grant it.”


President Tinubu arrived in Kaduna to a warm reception led by Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas; Deputy Senate President, Barau Jibrin; and the Emir of Zazzau, Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli.

Also present were Governors Hope Uzodimma (Imo), Babajide Sanwo-Olu (Lagos), Biodun Oyebanji (Ekiti), Monday Okpebholo (Edo), Umar Namadi (Jigawa), and AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq (Kwara).

Even Buhari their god, they destroyed his billboards, infact, they set it on fire. So what's the big deal about billboards?. Lol, of course, it is a debt legacy he had in Kaduna, that's why they're dragging his balls to court to explain how he looted the world bank loan he collected and about 400 billion naira debts legacy he left behind. The butcher collected loan to start an hospital but abandoned it for eight years, he used the project to steal money. Gov Sani came in, asked Tinubu for counterpart funding to revive the project, and the Gov mobilized contractors back to site and within two years, the project is completed. That's why the Governor is appreciating the President and renaming it after him, same way Niger State Govt renamed the airport after the president after he assisted with financial assistance. I will not be surprised if Abia Governor name the ongoing airport after Tinubu. You're a kid, you know nothing. Elrufai was shouting that Gov Sani was collecting money from Tinubu, bla bla bla . Was he not collecting money from Buhari, what did he do with it?.. Tinubu no be GEJ.

These people forget that Governors now have more money to execute projects and like Tinubu told Gov Alia yesterday, I want to come to Benue to commission Projects. Tinubu is giving them massive supports. Any Governor that's not commissioning projects is lazy & a thief.

In a bold move that would finally settle the debate over Nigeria’s identity crisis, political analysts have proposed that the country be renamed "Tinubia" in honor of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. After all, if Tinubu can rename national monuments, airports, and universities after himself and his allies, why stop there? Why not just rebrand the entire nation?

Since taking office, President Tinubu has shown a remarkable enthusiasm for slapping his name on public infrastructures. From the "Bola Tinubu International Airport" to the "Bola Tinubu International Conference Center", the trend is clear: if it exists, it must be renamed.

But why limit this visionary renaming spree to mere roads and buildings? If we truly want to leave a lasting legacy, the ultimate power move would be to rename Nigeria itself to "Tinubia". Here’s why:

1. Consistency in Leadership Branding
If every major landmark must bear the Tinubu name, then the country itself should not be left out. "Tinubia" would be a fitting tribute to a man who has dedicated his life to… well, making sure his name is everywhere.

2. No More Tribal or Regional Bias
The name "Nigeria" was coined by British colonialist Flora Shaw and has been a source of debate for decades. By renaming the country "Tinubia", we can finally move past ethnic divisions and unite under one common identity: the worship of one man’s legacy.

3. Economic Benefits
Think of the rebranding opportunities! New currency ("Tinubu Dollars" ), a new national anthem ("Tinubu Forever" ), and even a new pledge:
I pledge to Tinubia my country, to be faithful, loyal, and to always chant 'Emi Lokan'..."

Potential Challenges
Of course, there may be minor hurdles:
- Citizens might complain about the cost of reprinting passports, maps, and school textbooks.
- The international community might struggle to locate "Tinubia" on a map.
- Historians may weep at the erasure of "Nigeria."

But these are small prices to pay for the glory of Tinubianism—the belief that everything must be named after the man in charge.

If we are serious about honoring President Tinubu’s legacy, then half-measures will not do. Let us go all the way and rename Nigeria "Tinubia"—because if we don’t, who will?

Tinubu has done more than all Nigerian leaders put together and he deserves the country to be named after him because it is not easy what Tinubu has achieved since becoming president two years ago.

Glory hunters. As it is in the Federal so it is in the states. The hospital is one of the legacies of Elrufai, just like nearly all the projects Tinubu will be commissioning in Kaduna today. The governors have discovered that Tinubu loves sycophancy so they are falling overselves to outdo each other. But legacy is earned, not claimed.
