The U.S. military has officially removed Colonel Nathan McCormack from his position at the Joint Chiefs of Staff for posts calling Israel a death cult and saying America is acting as Israel’s proxy.

Colonel Nathan McCormack was removed from his position as the Levant and Egypt branch chief at the Joint Chiefs of Staff’s J5 planning directorate after making controversial social media posts. These posts, made on a semi-anonymous X account under the name "Nate," included calling Israel a “death cult,” referring to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his allies as “Judeo-supremacist cronies,” and questioning whether the U.S. was acting as Israel’s proxy. He also accused Israel of ethnic cleansing and disproportionate responses against Palestinian civilians, with some posts dating back to the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.

The Pentagon, aware of the situation, stated that McCormack’s views do not reflect those of the Joint Staff or the Department of Defense. He has been returned to his service branch, the U.S. Army, while an investigation is underway. The J5 directorate, where he served since June 2024, advises on military strategy and policy, including U.S.-Israel relations. His account has since been deleted, and the matter has sparked debate about free expression and military conduct.

Just for expressing his opinion it's hard for mankind to accept the truth though .

Two billion people are obsessed with 14 million people because their religious book commanded them to, and are so envious of the "chosen people" that they rejoice at the holocaust. America needs Israel more than Israel needs America. Most of America's top scientists & engineers are Jews.

Israel is a strategic partner of the US in the Middle East. It started as a relationship of protecting Israel due to the influential Jewish population in the US, to keeping them as a strategic partner especially with the growing anti American sentiment in the Middle East.

However, within the US, there are different interest groups. The democrats are not too aligned with Israel because they have Muslim groups and minorities in their core base.

The Republican Party itself is majorly aligned with Israel, but within the Republican Party, there are far-right white supremacists (Nazi groups) who hate Israel. They’re the ones that carry signs like “Jews will not replace us” during their protests. So the party is split on whether they should support Israel or stay out of the conflict

I see people complaining, in Iran this Man would have gotten a death sentence for being a mossad agent. He is in the wrong profession, if he wants to let his opinionx out, then the military shouldn't be his place of work.
