The governor of Kaduna, Uba Sani revealed that the new CNG buses would be made free for students, civil servants and pensioners for the next six months.

Mr Sani, in his address, described Tinubu as “a visionary leader who has redefined national priorities”.

He highlighted sweeping reforms in the state in education and rural development, saying over 535 schools shut due to insecurity have now reopened, and more than 500,000 hectares of farmland have been revived.

“Our identity is no longer fear, we are defined by productivity, education, and progress,” the governor said.

Mr Sani further said 79 roads spanning 780 kilometres had been constructed, 62 new secondary schools built, and over 1,000 classrooms renovated by his administration.

Additionally, the state has slashed tuition fees across its tertiary institutions by 50 per cent.

Great.

It is not going to be easy for a Nigerian President who know what he's doing to lose a Presidential election.

Nigerians say they prefer cheaper rice and garri to building the foundation for long term economic prosperity. Mr President, give it to them. A year to election, start opening the import gate - use the foreign reserves to import rice massively and bring the price down to N45000.

Shebi it was the President that built the Reserve from $3 billion that Mr Buhari left to the $24 billion we have now. They say 'na who $24 billion help'. Then the President use the money to import everything they say they want cheaper. Send most of the $24 billion to China, let them send us women's hair and everything else cheap cheap. Do it Mr President. It is what most Nigerians want.

They say dollar is too high. No problem. One year to election the President should start using the dollar reserve he is building for their future to feed them now. They say they can't wait, they want it now! Like under Mr Jonathan who used huge foreign reserves to import everything under the sun to keep them happy only to leave office with Mrs Okonjoeweala borrowing money to pay salaries while Mr Jonatha's Minister, Mrs Deziani allegedly helped herself to $2 billion. Mr Tinubu, Nigerians say they prefer that type of government..just give it to them.

While Ghana is slowly building the foundation for a middle-income economy, most Nigerians want ruinous short-term satisfaction. The same 'give it to us now' mentality the country has practiced since independence that has only taken the country backwards.

Mr President, just give them their stomach satisfaction. Now.

I can tell you for a fact that what the governor said is audio.

Uba Sani is not doing anything in Kaduna. Kaduna State University has gone in strike for 4 good weeks this year. And he still hasn't fulfilled their demand. Tell him to mention the routes the buses will be passing through for the free transport.

They call him Abuja governor. He only comes to Kaduna on Friday and Saturdays. The rest of the week is spent in Abuja.

Let's see it implemented. Because Uba Sani is full of propaganda. For one, the city of Kaduna itself has only two CNG stations. Zaria has none. Same with Kafanchan and all other LGs. These buses have been stocked at the government house for more than six months, waiting for the right time to score a political point. That was when PMS was around 1200 Naira

Am not sure he is coming back to the office in 2nd term, except pdp sellout the poll.

Emilokan will be shocked to see somebody making the people his centerpiece instead of taxing them to death, increasing the cost of tariffs on all public utilities.

I hope he learns something there because he lacks human sympathy.

How can this replace his failure to pay minimum wage for all workers?

Will this replace his failure to employ enough teachers, librarians, laboratory assistants, coaches, administrators etc for the free education of all Kaduna children in schools with adequately furnished and equipped classrooms, libraries, laboratories, playgrounds etc?

Is the record of APC progressives in Kaduna for 10 years better or worse than that of their Lagos progreThief counterparts regarding education?

Ratio of public to private schools in Lagos State is one to 22 ― Commissioner

The Lagos State government has said the ratio of public to private schools at both primary and secondary school levels in the state is one to 22.

The state’s Commissioner for Education, Mrs Folasade Adefisayo, gave the revelation in her remark at the 2022 edition of the Total School Support Seminar Exhibition (TOSSE) held at Oregun in Ikeja between Thursday and Friday.

Emergingnation:
Flashback: How Bola Tinubu spoke highly of Buhari in 2015, named PDP ‘Poverty Development Party

National leader of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Tinubu had during the presidential campaign in 2015, referred to President Muhammadu Buhari as the only solution for the security and economic challenges facing Nigeria.

During a mega presidential rally, the former governor of Lagos State recalled how some powerful nations in the world returned to army generals when they were challenged, saying “Major General Buhari would revive Nigeria’s economy”.

He named the current opposition People’s Democratic Party, PDP as the “Poverty Development Party saying they had nothing to offer.

His words at the time were; “Every nation has a period of their own challenges, when America was challenged, they turned to one great man, their ex-military general, General Eisenhower. When the French were challenged, they turned to their general, Charles de Gaulle.

“When Britain was challenged, they turned to their general. Today, Nigeria is economically and physically challenged so we turn to General Muhammadu Buhari. He is the right man for the job. If you talk about military experience, he has it abundantly, he has courage, simplicity, he has it abundantly.

“If you talk about great determination, a combination of vision and ability to perform, honesty and integrity, he has it abundantly.

“I laugh when the incapable government, ‘Poverty Development Party’ PDP were talking. They have nothing again to say, they now want to question the qualifications of General Buhari and look for his certificate”.

Following the manifestos in 2015 which projected the APC presidential candidate as a ‘saviour’, Buhari defeated the then incumbent president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan with Nigerians expecting a total change in security and economy.

Lol. Lagos-Calabar coastal highway is 750 kilometres and Tinubu has only managed to do 30 kilometres in 2 years but here is a Governor claiming to have constructed 79 roads spanning 780 kilometres in 2 years. Anyways, he knows his audience and they are seriously lapping it up but they will be back to call him a betrayer when he fails to deliver due to lack of capacity. Time is a gentleman.

Below is one of the freshly constructed roads. Less than two years old.
