Eight persons, including seven foreigners, were arrested for allegedly possessing narcotics worth Rs 1 crore.

The accused have been identified as Lal Kothari, a resident of Aizawl, Mizoram, Ugochukmv John alias David, Nnajiofor Peter Nmaemeka, Henry Onuchukwu, Ojukwa Ifenya, Friday Tobias Chikwu, and Okolie Romanus—all residents of Nigeria.

The operation began with the arrest of Bimal Pahadi, a Nepali national, from Sector 39 on June 16, who was found with 1.6 kg of illegal sulpha and 116 grams of cocaine. A case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act was registered. During interrogation, Pahadi revealed details of the supply chain , which led to a raid in Delhi on June 18 and 19.

While Pahadi remains in custody for further interrogation, The other seven accused were produced before the court on June 20.
