Congratulations, this is a huge win. The implication of this win is far reaching than you think. Future events will reveal what I mean

Did you submit the PAP yourself or did you hire legal representation?

June 9: Got E-mail reponse from UKVI that my decision have no right to appeal or administrative review.

June 13: Collected my passport from VFS

June 16: Got another mail from Home Office, that “my complaint has been considered and as detailed in my decision letter i have no right to appeal or administrative review” and other generic bla bla bla and i should apply again.

June 16: i replied again that their error must be acknowledged and i have no intention in submitting to a defective process., i also added that they need not review or overturn the visa decision but error must be acknowledged.

June 17: Phone call and follow up Mail from British High Commission, Abuja requesting for my passport.

June 18: I submitted around 12PM.

June 19: I was called around 11AM and i picked up my passport shortly after with the visa stamp in it.

Thanks everyone for your inputs, @cashmadam, @giselle237 @Militio @davodyguy @America001, i really appreciate.

@tyrant25 they responded first on 11th, then 16th, however there were lots of back and forth.

That's nice... although my company expects me to arrive Birghmmighan Airport because there reps will be there to pick me. Although they said arriving London will require them to arrange another onward travel from London to Bighmmigham although I don't know if Turkish Airlines land at Bighmmiham and additionally; WILL I BE NEEDING TRANSIT VISA FOR IT FROM TURKEY? AND HOW TO OBTAIN IT.

Turkish Airlines will take you to Birmingham.
You don’t need transit visa if you use Turkish Airlines for your journey to Birmingham.

Lagos (LOS) - Istanbul (IST) - Birmingham (BHX).

But if you fly other airlines like BA or Virgin Atlantic from Lagos directly to London, then you can use the National Express coach bus from London Heathrow to Birmingham instead of flying.

I have visited Birmingham, and I have used both options.

Good afternoon everyone!!

I am about submitting an application for a UK student visa. Please I need help with these questions?

1. Can I address my cover letter like this, and is the subject title okay?

The UKVI Entry Clearance Officer,
Lagos Application Centre, Nigeria.

SUPPORT DOCUMENTATION FOR A UK STUDENT VISA APPLICATION

2. Since I don't have a UK address yet and I don't want to stay with my sister in the UK, l wrote in my application form that I plan to book hotel reservation for a couple of days, while I view and finalize rental agreement with landlord/agent.
Please is the explanation okay.

Note: I have mentioned that I have a sister in the UK.

Thanks for your assistance.

Please for business owners trying to apply for visit visa, as compared to salary earners it is quite tricky/difficult to show or proof our monthly income/profits from bank statements since bank statements will show both Capital and profits all together. Like for me, I always turnover my profit when I sell an item with the capital to buy another item. Let me give an example of how my business works:

I buy an item from the US for like 400k, when it arrives Nigeria I sell for at least 480k and in a month I sell up to 11 to 15 items of such. But my bank statement for each month is showing both capital and profit. So how do we prove or show them how much we make?

How would you advise we go about this?
I use my personal account to run my business as i don't have a business account, hope it's not a bad thing when applying?
Hello, good day.. Did u later submit ur application with ur personal bank account statement.. How did it go?

Not needed!
No one will give her COS based on HCA course, not in this time when folks in the UK are looking and scrambling for COS. No one will employ her from Nigeria for Care work during this time.

Good Morning House

Please a friend of mine erroneously omitted the last digit of her passport number while making an application for a uk visitor visa and she has already submitted the application, paid the visa fee and scheduled an appointment at VFS, although she is yet to do her bio-metrics.
My questions is can she cancel her application and reapply immediately while waiting for her refund or she has to wait to get the refund before reapplying? or can she upload a cover letter with her documents on the VFS portal explaining the error and still go for the bio-metrics?

OR is there any other way of correcting this error and how do we go about it.
Tnxs.
