AdisaMighty:Guys like you are from the village ![]() It's obvious. That's why a place like Senegal is a wonderful place to you. You can even say e beta pass Naija. Parasite. All your bragging are fake. You stayed in Senegal on the expenses of a family. Common data you did not buy. ![]() Food you did not buy. Every thing on the expenses of your host. ![]() And you came here telling innocent nairalanders to go on a voyage to a place you know nothing about. ![]() Ode. You even said you own a house, you traveled to USA ![]() ![]() Oya I am on a boat to cape verde come join me. I go pay your fare to Senegal. As a dependant you be on people's money and wealth ![]() Learner. Village boy forming woke. |

AdisaMighty:In as much as I dislike his language use and curse words, the OP is totally right. I've been to all west African countries and I've spent more time shuttling between Mauritania and Senegal via the Rosso side. You are in no place to tell people how Senegal is if according to you you were hosted by a wealthy family and was sponsored. Did you pay rent? How many places did you go to in Senegal? Did you hustle in Senegal? Did you feel the street? Did you pay for food? Then how exactly do you think you should be the person talking to intending migrants about Senegal? I speak basic wollof for your information. The lingua franca is french but you have no idea how difficult it is to communicate if you don't have a little knowledge of wollof? Same way someone who's vising Nigeria for the first time, staying 3 weeks in banana island will have a very terrible judgement of the real situation in Nigeria. We that have hustled in Senegal are the ones that will tell you what Senegal really is. The OP is right, just that his approach is not okay at all. I read where you talked about your connections, I'll like to bring it to your notice that I'd be glad if I can get any help from you. I need a job, connection or anything that will change my status. I want to go back to Nigeria. I'm a graduate and a certified HSE level 1 to 3 holder. I'm opened to learning and taking courses if I have to. Hoping to get a positive response from you. |

yungchop:My my approach is on point. I was only trying to let intending travellers know what to expect on the journey to Senegal. You see, in life, we should be truthful and open so as not make innocent Nigerians go on a voyage that they will regret. It is best to learn from other people's mistake and not on one's self mistakes. Thanks for telling these guys the truth. I am not saying Senegal is hell. No. I just want guys to know what to meet on the journey. Okay, take for instance, where in Nigeria is food served with bare hands in Nigerian restaurant?. Even in the village in Damaturu it won't happen. But if you tell these guys that food like rice is served with bare hands in Senegal they start telling you you should not spoil other people's country. Is that spoiling a country? By saying exactly what happens? What about their immigration extorting Nigerians. Is it a lie? I met a girl in Cotonou who said Senegalese immigration collected Nigerian guy's phone when he did not have money they were asking for at the border. The girl and the boy were travelling together. I myself was sent back to Zinguizhor at the border for trying to tell the immigration to collect 3k cefas instead of the 5k they asked for because I saw them collecting 2k from other African nationals. I later wanted to give them the 5k but they rejected it for trying to negotiate and dropped my luggage from the bus I boarded from Zinguichor to Dakar. I had to take a longer route (Tambakunda route) to Darkar and spent more money. I regretted my action though for trying to negotiate the bribe and I promised myself I won't do that again. Just give them what they ask and move on with your journey. THESE ARE ALL EXPERIENCES YOU HAVE TO LET NAIRALANDERS KNOW so that they won't make same mistakes as you made. So they can get themselves prepared mentally and financially for such journeys. But when I said all these one guy here started calling me names for being open and sincere. Must I tell lies? Anyways for those who argue about the serving food with bare hand, attached are some photos. Get ready to eat such foods because you might not have options when hunger arrests your stomach ![]() Including their bread which are not in nylons. It is their CULTURE and you can't do anything about it. Lastly, MOST SENEGALESE ARE FRIENDLY AND LOVING. Let's always tell intending travellers the truth.

yungchop:Lol Don't make me laugh o. You see, my guy, until you get out of Naija that's when you go no say Naija no be mate of these African countries including South Africa. May your journey be smooth in Jesus name. East, West, North or South Home is the best. Things are tough in Nigeria, but until you step out that's when you go know say many countries are tougher. I just bought 4gb for 2000cefas. They claim it is for a month but my guy e no dey reach a week. That is about 6000 naira worth of data. As data cost reach for naija e never worst reach dis. May God give you a save journey back home. Tambacounda route is beta o because there are no border issues there except police and e no too much like dat. God bless. When you reach Holla back. that's about |
