I was just laughing when i saw something like Signature Allowance and Peculiar Allowance for striking FCTA primary school teachers. And they refuse to define Signature Allowances and Peculiar Allowances.

When Peter Obi says Nigeria is a crime scene you lots start attacking him. Just look at the monumental corruption that Tinubu's body language is encouraging.

Truth be told, we cant continue like this. We all should be begging Peter Obi to lead this country.

Very stu**pid write up. This person is clearly trying to damage the image of the primary school teachers. How many times has politicians gone on strike?

I agree with this. First question is “was there a signature allowance in the approved budget?”

I think someone is trying to manage information here. Nyesom Wike that I know will kill and destroy if the money he released for one purpose was utilized for something else.
Many of the people here are not informed. Wike can do nothing to elected area council chairmen, he doesn't have such powers. Some weeks ago, Wike mentioned withholding the IGR meant for the area councils, so they he can pay primary school teachers directly, as the first amount disbursed was withheld by the council chairmen. I wonder how all of you missed that news that was on Nairaland front page some weeks ago.

Who wrote this junk and expects us to believe it? Is Wike dead that he can't order the chairmen to refund the money?

Secondly, according to this misleading report, the primary schools are under the LGAs, so why did the FCT Minister release the money for payment of the allowance and yet can't intervene?

My best bet is "no money was released" it was all a cover-up for political purposes.
Wike should order elected area council chairmen to refund money? Are they his subordinates? Many of you clearly lack understanding of governance and political structures. Na to just come Nairaland dey rant una sabi.

Peter Obi that couldn't manage and give account of donations to small Labour Party is the same person you think will manage our commonwealth as a nation.

Yen yen yen, do you people actually think before you type?

Is it Wike's responsibility to get EFCC to pick them up? The protesting unions cannot write a petition to EFCC? The other person said he didn't act, you are saying his actions are illegal. It must be a curse to really dislike someone. I don't like Wike too but I don't act like one without brain.

NUT treasury should endeavor to reach out to the minister for clarification on the the alleged signature allowance Wike that I know won't release such amount to clear backlog of unpaid wages and be quiet in the face of a provocative strike action
which WIke do you know?

is it the same Wike that spends government money as if it is his personal money that you are talking about?
Re: FCT: How ₦4 Billion Meant For Striking Teachers Disappeared – NUT Treasury by KillahPriest: 3:15pm On Jun 24, 2025
If Nyesom Wike and the NUT leadership can not have the area council chairmen arrested and prosecuted with the EFCC then they should shut their traps because that 4.1 billion must come out in fact, all public primary school teachers in the FCT must institute a class action lawsuit against the minister of FCT, the minister of education, the ministry of education, the NUT and the area councillors as co defendants. This madness must stop immediately

Money in bank(s) do not disappear into tin airs.
It cannot be swallowed by snakes neither can monkeys disappear with it.
There are always trails of where the money moves to.
Report to the appropriate authority and have same returned.
Any person(s) that steals teachers' money is/are terrorist(s) of the worst order.

You claim that I type before I think
Now from the news, can you explain to me who gave the LG chairs N4.1bn? Was it the unions or Wike? Who is a member of the Federal Executive Council that EFCC reports to? Is it Wike or the unions? The AGF under whose ministry EFCC's activities fall is Wike's colleague in FEC.
Now with the above, judge yourself. Do you really act like one with brain or not? Do you think before you type?

It was even a crowd funding website. I know zombies have selective amnesia which is why you're quick to jump on Obi's back when their god is doing even worse and terribly disgusting things.
That's why you use insults to cover your ineptitude and hypocrisy
