This coalition that is developing outside the major political party that is our APC, is to me, a positive development in democracy. There can be no democracy without effective opposition which the major, supposedly, opposition has failed to provide, that is the PDP, LP and other parties instead, they are turning the Nigerian democracy into something else. You can see the number of decampmemts here and there, that means you are telling the public out there, you have no principles but only need a platform.

But even if you need a platform, it should be where your conscience will be with you and it is very very dangerous for democracy itself, if there is no visible effective opposition, that democracy is under threat itself. I can see politicians decamping but the voters that elected us are not. So what I can see is a ship, like the President rightly said, there is vacancy in that ship but if you overload that ship, the ship will capsize and if it capsizes you lose everybody and that is what I fear. I know most of them are moving because of this stick-and-carrot approach.

Why would they defects when they don't belong to parties.

Vote don't count , so far you have inec and police , that's why politicians do any how with power
