"I rushed to Lagos from Abuja after the call this morning and headed straight to the property. On arrival I was met by security people who tried to bar me from entering the property. I humbly pleaded with them that the property belonged to my brother's company, and from the records, the company had owned the property for over a decade. They told me they had a court judgment, and I immediately requested it.Honestly, Obi would have made more sense devoid of pity and sympathy calling if he had told us, bringing out the documents (like CofO and Survey) establishing the fact that “his brother” truly owns the property occupied and demolished . |

My only one question is , is it only Peter Obi's brother building/property that was singlehandedly demolished in that area? Modified: Wondering why some people are trying to shut my question down. Peter Obi has been governor in Nigeria before, would any governor demolish buildings without serving them notification? Did he also demolish buildings in Anambra state without prior notification? Attaching unnecessary emotions to issue won't make one to have balanced view about the issue |

Dirty politics...na Emilokan get am. Even if he did not order directly, he has a network of willing vile men who will stop at nothing to be in power. That's why I dey laugh that El Rufai. I hope he backs down for his own good. Even Buhari wey be ex military threaded softly with that man. You can't fight what you can't see. This man is still standing ONLY because he is a firm believer in God and equally fearless. |

Once he has Lagos State building approval when it was built, he has a great legal claim. But If PO's brother never obtained building permit, it will be. Painful legal loss. |

It looks like a shanty. Besides that, there are many legal tussles especially in Ikeja on many underdeveloped properties that , some still pending for years in supreme court. This may be one of many. His brother should provide all the necessary documents involved and those who sold it and government c of o. It will settle it. All these camera junketing without giving evidence won't solve anything. |

A simple and clear-cut message to south east people in lagos and you’re lamenting, the Yoruba occupied sensitive positions in the oil firms in the niger delta with landed properties nobody threatens them, but atimes they want to behave as if they are on top of the situations,I don’t blame them only mental menace of people in the remaining part of the south because they are behaving as if they can not get any thing on their own without them.Meanwhile sorry the message is very clear. |

That is why Igbos should be wise. The west most especially is becoming hostile to Igbo businesses. Think East and give the tribal bigots a middle finger. We have enough Lands and emerging Cities in the East that will accommodate everyone. |

Loads of nonsense! They should not demolish his property because he's related to you? Why not come up with similar storyline when more than one thousand properties were demolished in Anambra within 2 weeks?? |

If the structure is illegal, then it will be demolished, briefing is not even needed |
