. No, Tinubu should not!
The military chiefs should not the president. Tinubu is contending with many ruthless evil northern cabals who want to destabilize Gus government to give him a bad reputation.

Tinubu wants this bandits flushed out totally but some internal sabotages won't give up trying to make the president fail in his plans to wipe them out.
Let's leave sentiments aside and call a spade a spade
was this not the samething that happened during gej the sabotage and u said he should resign

This is very humiliating and embarrassing. First, images like these are supposed to be treated as very confidential and tightly protected from getting to the public as this can cause panic among residents and heavy grief to victims family who were able to recognise the deceased from the picture.

Secondly, Nigerian government should sit up to find a transparent end to these insecurity issues as it would escalate and become a great menace to the political elites and every one in Nigeria including the high military heads. "A little chance given to a visitor would extend beyond limit". "A stitch in time saves nine".

Nigeria will still divide like Sudan into North and South, infact, in all honesty, it will break to pieces beyond just North and South. There will still be full blown war in this country. And it is going to sweep away a lot of Southerners who keep deceiving themselves that they have a country or "One Nigeria". Nigeria had never been one and Nigeria will never be one. The earlier people start to take their security into their hands the better.
The few individuals bold enough to speak the truth are tagged enemies of the state and crucified.
Let's continue in our self-conceitedness... E go clear one day, by then it would be too late.
North and South?, I think once Abuja is taken bu the bandits, they east will declare independence within a second, I would not know the plan of the West and their northern allies

Nothing is overwhelming brother! Nigeria government is the one sacrificing the lives of these men. Imagine the plan, the accolades, the respect given to repented boko haram. Where do you think the bandit get there info from. How does the enemy know your strengths if not the stooges among them(repented boko harm and bandit). They have link at the top. The military know what to do.

The Nigerian military are still in the old model of fighting, they need to sit down and study the Russian and Ukraine war. Drones are the new kings of the battlefield. They need to adapt or continue to lose men. These bandits should not be allowed to walk freely on the battlefield without a drone saying to them “ how far”

Nigerian army is one of the strongest force in Africa.
All they need is a direct command. We are not fighting war, but we are losing men/women.
It's very unfortunate and a lot politicians praise singers see nothing wrong in the whole situation.
I am just tired of viewing this kind of stories on nairaland.

Our soldiers are now scared.

Leaders seems to be cool with what is happening in Nigeria so common man will always ask but it will escalate if care is not taken. The south should take note of everything happening in the northern region and their leaders attitude towards the killings

We should invest more on drones that will monitor the movement of this bandits.
At least a state should have nothing less than 10 to 20 drones.
This should be the responsibility of every state and not the federal government alone. If each states have their drones they can network together and prevent loss of lives of our soldiers.

,
No nation in ancient and modern era, endured this kind of humiliation and bloodletting at the hands of mere bandits.

what we’re witnessing now is a live circus of a nation being devoured, one geopolitical zone at a time, as bandits feast on the republic like it’s their midday lunch meal.

How will the 2000 plus tractors now be of benefit to the people ravaged by banditry and terrorism.
The real issue here is the deception and change of name. Those people aren't bandits, I don't know why Buhari administration rebranded terrorists as bandits just to save face.

Any group of people capable of causing such damage is a terrorist group.

Re: About 20 Soldiers Killed In Deadly Bandit Attack On Military Camp In Niger State by Karlman: 9:04am On Jun 25, 2025
Nigeria's problem is fundamental.
Why are these terrorists called Bandits. Bandits are armed robbers, and terrorists are terrorists.

Civic right organisation as IPOB is tagged terrorist only by Nigeria government but Fulani herdsmen and their Miyetti Allah are 4th most dangerous terrorist organisation in the world but the Nigerian government will never refer to them as terrorists because they know exactly what they are hiding.

Its a pity for Nigerians. The Igbo man has seen all these from afar, but the rest of the tribes were gullible to think the igbo man who wanted to librate you and himself from all this mess from the day one is your enemy, just look at middle belt people who's grandparents were the majority of the Nigerian army during the Biafran war, now their children children are paying the price of their gullibility with their lives.

This is exactly why they placed Tinubu in that place against the wish and votes of the majority of Nigerians. Tinubu will do nothing and will achieve nothing because it all has been bargained.

Nnamdi Kanu had seen it all five years ahead that buhari will give it to Tinubu and Tinubu will do worst. Yall should go back and listen to all he said six years ago.

Stop reuniting repentant bandits and Bokoharam into the society.

It's time for Tinubu and federal government of Nigeria to start taking serious steps..

Act quickly save Nigeria from bloodshed.

Tinubu has not resigned as the Commander in Chief, yet he suspended my Governor Sim Fubara and brought Ibas to steal our resources.
How can you continue to preside over Nigeria in the face of these senseless killings of the citizens you swore to protect?
Tinubu resign now and go home!
Saint Akpabio is only concerned about all the South South Governors joining the Evil Party, APC.

OMG. 20 soldiers killed. Even America's B-2 bomber cannot kill as much in a go.
Divide Nigeria so that those who adopted unconstitutional Islamic sharia criminal justice system shall have their own Islamic Republic. The bandits are offshoots of Boko Haram fighting for a country to be governed with Sharia criminal justice system.
Problem is that too many Nigerians are ignorant of the fact that bandits, Boko Haram and Fulani herdsmen share the same objective with people in the 12 sharia states of northern Nigeria .
