Whether he is an ally of this or that PDP is too big to be pocketed by one person.

Congratulations to APC. Their mole is finally grounded to complete the drowning of PDP.

Anonimi, come with your usual drivel.

Lol. Wike wins again. He’s got the party by the balls. Jokes apart, this is the only reasonable option for the party at this time. Allow Anyanwu stay till the end of his tenure in October and then organize another convention to elect a new NWC.

PDP has gone to the dogs. The party should be buried
Re: PDP NWC Affirms Samuel Anyanwu As National Secretary by Fiscus105(m): 1:23pm On Jun 25, 2025
Better, 3 months not too long to wait before he expires, not even wen there is no political activity before then.

Since Wike holds the police and judiciary, you will wait for him, wen he won't have excuse to hinge upon by November.
Re: PDP NWC Affirms Samuel Anyanwu As National Secretary by eteba(m):
Wike has finally purchased the PDP, and paid in full, Atiku and his committee of friends have now moved to the ADAobi party.

If PDP had been smart to allow Sen Anyanwu serve out his term, maybe 50% of the high profile politicians that left the party, wouldn't have defected, maybe.
Re: PDP NWC Affirms Samuel Anyanwu As National Secretary by Ashirioluwa: 1:23pm On Jun 25, 2025
I don’t think PDP will be relevant in the next election because Mr. Wike has single-handedly destroyed the party.

As I mentioned in the other thread, please avoid focusing on the opposition PDP and instead direct your attention to Tinubu and his calamitous regime
Re: PDP NWC Affirms Samuel Anyanwu As National Secretary by ElevationD: 1:25pm On Jun 25, 2025
Short and simple. They avoided that unnecessary litigation that will set the party back in the future.

Now to get ready for convention at the expiry of Anyanwu’s tenure in December and find a more acceptable candidate to the SE. Wike has no business determining who’s the choice of SE secretary. He can continue to face his SS, especially in Rivers state and try as much as he can to destroy PDP there.

The whole party is in the pocket of Wike, therefore, PDP will be irrelevant in the next election.

Re: PDP NWC Affirms Samuel Anyanwu As National Secretary by Halo22: 1:35pm On Jun 25, 2025
Well for me, it's not completely bad. The crisis had caused PDP a lot all these while and since Sen. Anyanwu's tenure expires by October, then there's need to allow him complete his tenure for peace to reign.

May Day: Hunger, unemployment, insecurity real— Tinubu

According to him: “The theme demands our collective attention and serves as a stark reminder of the need to create an environment where every worker feels safe, valued, and empowered to contribute to the growth and prosperity of our nation. As your President, I assure you that this administration is committed to creating such an environment for the common good.”

On the economic hardship, he noted that while it is a global phenomenon, its effects on Nigerians are particularly severe.

Tinubu said: “I am aware of the peculiarities of the economic hardship Nigerians face—rising living costs, hunger, insecurity, unemployment, and the loss of livelihoods. These challenges are real and demand definitive solutions, which I am poised to address as your President.

Wike seems to have pocketed them. After all the attack on him, so they still succumb. I hope dey won't blame Tinubu when pity finally scatter.
Re: PDP NWC Affirms Samuel Anyanwu As National Secretary by hotseat: 1:50pm On Jun 25, 2025
This is the right step to take!

The PDP boxed itself into a tight corner by refusing to recognize Sam Anyanwu who happens to be the authentic National Secretary arising from the last PDP national convention.

But given his alledged allegiance to the Wike camp, some elements want him out even before the end of his tenure coming up in November or thereabout.

INEC, the umpire, says any planned activity of the party without the signature of Anyanwu would amount to a mere academic exercise without any legal backing whatsoever.

Now, belatedly realizing this legal lacuna, the anti-Wike camp had to eat the humble pie by coming out to recognize Anyanwu.

Already, the party has been battered almost beyond recognition with members fleeing to other parties, particularly, the APC.

We learn everyday!

It's simply the right and common sense thing even approved by the Supreme Court. Wike has been sensible and reasonable these past few years. Reason why he's progressing.

Best decision for them.
Instead of all this back and forth, he wanted National Secretary, then he'll have it.
October is just tomorrow.

It was a fall out of the long drawn court case that terminated with a Supreme Court judgment. They were whipped in line after losing at the Supreme Court.

Highly dysfunctional party. No one will believe that they had once been a ruling party. Smh
