Tinubu should have said "as me" instead of "with me" many Nigerians abuse English in this manner.

in conclusion, they were neighbours they attended the same school but not at the same time.

They could have meet at state wide University campus parties..... They are still schoolmates (virtue of state) & neighbours (student accommodation, not to far from tinubu's residence)........ 🤣😂

Now first off., I believe the right words the president should have used is " the same school AS me " not with me , a grammatical error there , nothing else .
Secondly , is it not plausible that Alex was Tinubu's neighbour in Chicago in the mid-nineties of the Abacha years after he must have dropped out of school as unverified records showed that he was a second year student of UIC ( not CSU) as at 1992 . Would that not make Alex a man in his 30's circa '96/97 when Tinubu was in exile from Abacha.? Which one is all these 14 years old "schoolmate" everyone of you is now deliberately misquoting the man ? All these mischievous takes on this over a slip of tongue at worst .

I graduated from LASU 10 years ago
Now I have a young guy as a neighbour in bariga area who currently studies at LASU, my alma mater.
Now apply my scenario to what the president said about the Belarusian . But we believe many of these people are irredeemable slow . You will all be alright .

It might look unusual to you but it really isn't, my set had a 14 year old who was taken college classes as part of a program that allows high schoolers to get a head start. It's not even a Gusiness book record, we've had 13 year olds or younger that actually GRADUATED college, now that's the real record
