President of the Senate, Godswill Akpabio, has said Former Rivers State Governor, Wike ought to be celebrated on a daily basis.


Akpabio inaugurated the Arterial Road N20 Interchange Bridges, built by the Nyesom Wike led FCT administration

Speaking, Akpabio referenced the recent crisis in the PDP regarding the position of the National Secretary of the party, and the recent defection of Senator Neda Imasuen, Senate Committee Chairman on Ethics, Code of Conduct, and Public Petitions, from the Labour Party to the ruling All Progressives Congress, the Senate President said the President was saddened to see the opposition in disarray.

“However you people got yourself into this confusion, try and get yourself out of it very quickly. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu GCFR is interested in seeing a vibrant opposition. As a true democrat, we would like to see a very vibrant opposition in the country. It saddens him when he sees the way the opposition in Nigeria is in disarray.

Why didn't you say Otti is only doing his work? You come here and praise Otti who hasn't done 3% of what Wike has done in 2 yrs in FCT, but are quick to say he's doing his work. Why didn't all the previous FCT Ministers also do their work? Wike is very outstanding and if he continues at this rate, Abuja could make it to the top 20 most beautiful cities in the world.

I live in Lagos and work in Abuja, and I can tell you that the work Fashola, Ambode, and Sanwo Olu did in Lagos combined together is not up to a quater of the projects Wike delivered in FCT in less than 2 years.

Only those who've lived in both cities for years and have traveled to both cities frequently recently can relate.

Some of you I just don't know what to call you. So once anybody criticize this govt means he's an Obi supporter. Spending 39 billion naira to refurbish a conference center while children have been at home for three months. All the primary health centers in the FCT have been on strike since the beginning of the year. Rural and sub urban dwellers are going through hell. . Previously, their salaries comes from two sources. Area councils pays 60% and FCTA pays 40%. Wike has refused to abide by this agreement done to ensure the smooth
running of primary schools in the FCT. No major employment in the health sector since
he came. No new hospital or new schools. Once you get to hospital later than 6:00am in the morning, you will be turned back because of lack of adequate personnel and health facilities. He sacked thousands of temporary health workers on resumption of office without employing any. He terminated the appointment of newly recruited resident doctors which we dearly need in the FCT . He is more interested in building 14Billion naira vice president residence, waste multiple billions on projects that is not within his peview such as judges qauters. We have never had it so bad in the FCT. I doubt if Tinubu will get 10% of votes in the FCT. The most visibly angry people are the northerners. I have only seen Yoruba people support him. Most settelite towns in the FCT has been abandoned. He goes inside the city center scrapping and painting good roads. We will respond massively with our votes starting from next year local government elections.

Wike and Tinubu's hater spotted.We always look for reasons to downplay some achievements just cos we hate some individuals. Life so suppose be like that.

Celebration of our leaders will begin when we start producing our cars. phones, air planes and most of the things we import. Any other achievement is their basic responsibility. Why should we celebrate a leader for performing his basic duty. In any case, he benefits more from the kickbacks.
