If u enter Owo, and see how streets are tarred u will curse federal govt for not building street road even in Abuja.
And I can tell u, the impact of Akeredolu in Owo will remain in Owo forever, and I'm sure it's not only road, there will be more things he did for Owo which I don't know of... But for the road I know very much cos I went to Owo last year, and I was amazed.. Even the street leading to my papa house was tarred... Even including some roads that are even insignificant... If all Nigerian President build Abuja road, there won't be any street without road

I can attest to this, i was particularly marvelled at the inner city roads. The standards are what you see in state capitals.

Road wise, Aketi really tried. Can't say the same for other areas of administration though!!!

In marriage, culture really matters. A man or woman can "love" you/the spouse but hates your tribe and culture. It seems impossible, but we see it often after the spouse is dead or divorced.

In my view, I don't believe she went to the palace to first discuss it with the Oba. Any woman from a place with deep-rooted culture would do so. Because her children are subjects of that king.

According to our current constitution, the governor has to approve and present the staff of office to the oba. Or done on his behalf according to law. Owo has a process of producing a king. It was followed and done openly.

If you remove estates where rich people stay in Abuja... U can hardly found street roads that are well tarred in Abuja. So on that, I give it to Akeredolu
