I started sounding the alarm bells since middle of 2024.

There are just too many distractions in the crypt0 market by way of the thousands of junk altcoins that are flying all over the place.

The current issue goes beyond quantitative easing, Bitc0in dominance and the BS you get from the people drawing graphs all over the place.

For there to be a true bullrun there needs to be an extended period of sustained cash injection which must be more than the rate at which people are selling and taking profits.

The reason why this is not happening is because of the plethora of junk altc0ins which most people prefer to gamble on so they can cash out quickly, another reason is that most people are now trading with smarter bots which have been set to effectively take profits once their is a little upsurge in prices

All the wars going on are not helping matters also because people are loosing their homes and sources of livelihood therefore investment is the last thing on their minds.

The American government has also cut foreign aids and international grants with the resultant effect that there is less of 'free' money with which to take risks by investing in crypt0 which any intelligent person knows is nothing but a glorified Ponzi scheme

I tell people trading only starts to make sense when you’re not dependent on the profits.

If you’re still struggling to meet your basic needs, trading won’t fix it. In fact, it’ll likely make things worse. The pressure, the desperation it clouds your judgment.

If you're into day-trading, this guy's method would be better. Look at how I have forgotten his moniker. The guy that uses volume data. His posts are usually great for scalpers and day-traders.

For me, I can't remember when last I checked the 12 hours timeframe let alone 4 hours—they now irritate me. I'm more on long term trades and that's why my systems are built on waiting for good entries.

I was watching a video on YouTube, the title attracted me and the moment he started mentioning 4 hours and 15 minutes timeframe, I closed it because I know it's not my style. Used to be, but not anymore.

Except you have a source that can infuse 500B dollars into btc right now, i don't see how btc will break that 112k now, maybe later in the year but for now, it is highly unlikely. I dare say this new week will be a red week from monday to perhaps wednesday

But now I have switched to day/swing trades. I might eventually focus on swing trades to avoid over anxiety about price movement.
I noticed you trade mostly swing trading style.

Scalping be wan kill me, deposited 100k naira to be using 20X leverage to get 10k daily for every 0.5% move up/down and stop loss of 1% was successful only 6 times and lost like 2 times and just stopped.

Now, i am back to the basics, following my original trading strategy.

Full swing, at least 2 weeks holding with like 2x or 4x leverage and good capital of like 200k divided into 4 martingale trades. I used to do this before but I'll forget to set the consecutive trades and kept getting burnt, not like it wasn't working, just that it was slowwwwwwwwwwwwwww but now i know better sha.

We keep learning emotional control, that's just the key to this trading thing.

Scalping is very tempting especially with leverage targeting small percentage gains, but majority of the time it eat up one's account.
It really eat my money. Me I am still learning the swing trading. It's far better than giving someone hbp.
With sure setup in swing trading, one can always leave the market if things are going south. Little gains compounding is far better
Though, patience is the key. Eventually, one will improve. Every good trader started from the bottom.
