Let me confess.
‎I didn’t buy my current phone because of camera or design. I bought it out of frustration.

‎I was tired. Tired of watching my battery bar drop like a Lagos traffic light. Tired of carrying my charger like it was an extension of my body. Tired of switching off my data to "save small battery" and don’t get me started on charging it 3 times before evening and it still dying when I needed it most 😩

‎It wasn’t just battery, that phone used to heat like I was frying plantain on it.
‎Slow charging, lagging apps, video calls that sounded like robotic jazz… I suffered.
‎
‎Out of pure annoyance, I decided to try something different and a friend recommended any of realme's devices. Didn’t expect much tbh. The name even sounded like one of those cheap Androids you buy with fear in your heart.

‎But that battery?
‎Omo.
‎That was the first thing I noticed. It lasted the whole day. I thought it was a fluke.
‎Then the next day, same thing. I was charging once. Just once.
‎
‎I’m not saying it’s the “best phone in the world” but if you’ve ever had battery trauma, you’ll understand the peace this one has given me 😭🙏🏾.

This is a nice marketing post for Realme phones OP.

Has been on the platform since November and it one Realme phone post after the other....make una put use small style do this your marketing so it does not come off looking so blatant and desperate..... especially seeing as the brand is actually an ok brand.

Like I said sometime ago on a similar thread, the world has moved beyond this marketing style and the fact that you so called marketers still resort to this method has already discouraged me from whatever it is you think you're 'hyping'.

Stop assuming people are too stupid to see through your BS, it will only harm your brand in the long run.

It's a world of transparency now, all these gimmicks are a waste of time. Advertise ethically, it's not too much to ask for. This way, people will just see you as shady and run far away from whatever you are de'marketing'.

I'm really curious tho how should they market their products then, cus you're making it sound like it's wrong or something, if there's a way you think they should advertise pls do share. This is coming from genuine curiosity no hard feelings

Honesty can't be undervalued nor underappreciated, if you know you are being paid to do something, admit it. Even on YouTube and all other social media, their is a disclaimer that they will say this video or post was sponsored, the poster should have done so.

If they wanted to forcefully generate user feedback, they should incentivise genuine customers to do a review, but only one on a site, and then move on. Follow proper corporate advertising engagement and engaging well known content creators is also a win with our youth of today.

But my best advice is it is word of mouth that will grow the brand and genuine user feedback which was what happened with Xiaomi and I am glad I was part of the people who always hyped that brand and sold it in Nigeria long before they came in full force....and I've known Realme for ages too and I know their budget products are very comparable with Redmi and Xiaomi in quality and ultimately value, so no need for these underhand tactics of deception if they do things right.
