Quit the shalaye by referring to his past. Stick to he here and Now of his mediocrity.

This is the koko here, if Tammy Abraham doesnt match Victor Osimhen's exploits in Turkey, then you would bathe in bitter leaf soup water for one week.

Shockingly 😲 unexpected.

A player at age 21 was the highest goal 🥅 scorer for Chelsea 2019/20, incredible potential at that young age. He then falls out of favour with Tuchel denied game time, etc

He then goes to Roma in 2021 and scores 17 goals in Seria A. He gets a terrible ACL injury and has never seemingly been able to get back to his higher levels.

He is now in the retirement league at age 27 on a €20 million transfer with Besiktas.

Sad 😔 but a painful football ⚽ reality.

It's funny how he has never acknowledged Osimhen's injury travails when he's badmouthing him but see him adducing Tammy Abraham's poor form and record in the Serie A to injury.

Na real bitter leaf and hypocrite hin be.

It is an insult comparing Tammy Abraham to Osimhen. Tammy is in the same league as the likes of Sadiq, not Osimhen. This Tammy boy can not even outscore Onuachu in Turkey, and I can bet on that.

At Bolded, I am bemused at the fact that you have never considered Osimehn injury woes in Italy whenever you decide to bash him and call a one season wonder.

Yet, here you are giving excuses for Tammy's failure in Serie A owing to Injury.

Can you in all honesty tell me why I shouldn't call you a hypocrite and a hater of Osimehn?

Should we even get started with the time zone? Who go wake up at 3am to watch ball?
The world cup is globally viewed, live and FIFA tries as much as possible to fix matches at a time that best fits the highest viewing populations. 7:00pm-11:00pm is considered as the best viewing period globally and then followed by 2:00pm -6:00pm. FIFA tries as much as possible to ensure the highest viewing population watch those matches between 2:00pm and 11:00 pm. Also European time is usually more favoured in these time zone calculations and fortunately for Africa, we fall under same time zones with European countries.

Remember, the 2014 WC in Brazil? Brazil is 4hrs behind Nigeria and we watched most of the matches between 6:00 and 11:00pm. It therefore means the games were played in Brazil between 2:00 and 7:00pm.

During the 1994 world cup, USA being 5-7hrs behind Nigeria (depending on the game venue) we watched most of the games between 8:00pm and midnight. That means the games were played between Afternoon and evening in the US.

The countries that usually suffer from sleepless nights or having to wake early to watch games are the counties in far East Asia (like the Koreans, Japan, Eastern China, etc) and Oceania (Australia, New Zealeand and environs)

For the 2026 WC most of the games would kick-off early evenings and end at midnights (12:00 - 1:00am), depending on the time zone of the city hosting the game.

How could Liverpool think Napoli will pay over €70m for Darwin Nunez? Napoli still working on the deal though but they are ready to move to another option, Lorenzo Lucca who would cost around €35m.

I must say that Eberechi Eze may not have turned out for Nigeria but I am happy for how his career hss turned out so far. Taking Crystal palace to their first major trophy in their entire history is huge and remarkable and doing it against the biggest clubside of the last decade in England, Man City was even sweeter.

Congrats Eze.

Just too bad this still wont get him Regular England starts. But City or Arsenal needs a player like Eze.

Eze will be a huge upgrade on Odegaard and also a fair KDB replacement with a touch of David Silva (although Wirtz is eyed by City too).
Remember when I said the above.... well, Fab reports this below... dont know if Arsenal will see it through though.

He know how to set standards, rules and excuse for his innit boys, but can't do same for home grown players..

When will CAF get rid of this funny CCL and CCCformat abeg? All these extra rounds should be for non champions from low teams now. Why should a league champ go through an extra round after sweating all season to seal the spot? They should find a way to eliminate this round thing abeg and perhaps use league coefficients properly going forward.

16teams again?? Yeah, i understand all that tiny excuses but the repeat shows they're not doing what they ought to to make it 32. Generally, the continent still feels left out, asides these North Africans that are fully inclusive most of the time.

16teams is undeserving of CAF Champions League at this level. Naaah. If they can't do 32, 24 is there. We need more teams abeg. Swap out these prelim for actually extra games in tournament proper

Arsenal are definitely better for him, it's just that am a Spurs wannabe fan. I think he could become their new talisman as it is rumored that Son is leaving them. I don't think Tbomas Frank can surpass Ange at Spurs though. Can't understand why Ange was fired, stubborn coach but he is good.

Real Betis the latest club to enquire on Wilfried Ndidi.

Everton, Manchester United and Juventus have also discussed the Leicester midfielder.

Ndidi also drawing Saudi interest and is believed to be open to the Saudi Pro League.

£9m release clause due to Leicester’s relegation

Good point, I slightly differ that the prelim & first rounds be scrapped. There are 47 associations (as at this last CL), without those rounds some FAs will never taste continental football.
However it is nonsense that clubs like Raja Casablanca are still forced to do prelim & first rounds.
The top 12 associations should have the league winners settled in the groups.
Runner ups from the 12 can play against the winners of those who beat themselves in the prelim round.
That Super league nonsense should be scrapped.

That's where expansion can help to me. If 8 more teams are added to make it 24, that already cutting away of prelim games. Not to talk of when it is 32 teams.

The league winners, yeah. Fantastic idea. They've done their part in deserving that, especially as they're ranked top 12. Then the remaining 24 slots can go through just one round so we can make do with all these. Then coefficients can come in to determine if 2 or 3 total slots needs to go to one league.

Or better still, just increase the league slots for confed cup and make it a 32 team tournament. Atall atall(if they're too reluctant for changing the 16teams for the CCL). It will increase the rep of CCC.

It's just sad that CAF is still struggling with how Away teams are treated all rounda. The hammer is not wielded enough. If an existing rule is on ground for such conduct, it will reduce all these panel sittings IMO. They should leave anything committee for heavier matters.

Overall 16teams is undeserving, no matter what anyone tries to say.

I like this. And I agree, the least both competitions should be is 24 teams.

Concerning the away team something it will probably take some shaming from Europeans or any other outsider to bring CAF to it's senses. Meanwhile CAF is not utilizing the rise of influencers for stirring attention towards it's competitions. Last AFCON should have shown them the use.

CONTRACT ENDS TODAY

Victor Osimhen’s loan spell at Galatasaray ends today, June 30. The star forward is now obligated to join Napoli’s preseason camp.

STRIKING STATEMENTS

Osimhen, who has not yet made a final decision, will cost Napoli a gross weekly salary of 193,000 euros. Italian outlet Il Mattino published a remarkable piece on the Nigerian forward: “They thought the Nigerian player would be in a hurry to say goodbye to Napoli. But this is shameful, because everyone was sure a solution would have already been found. But that’s not the case. Osimhen is a problem. A serious problem. And no one has yet considered the possibility that the Nigerian striker may not find a solution before the training camp begins on July 17.”

OSIMHEN’S STRATEGY

“Wait until the end of August. By then, no one in the world will pay the 75 million eurosrelease clause, and everyone will think De Laurentiis will be forced to compromise with the club Osimhen may have already agreed with. Yes, that could be the striker’s strategy. He knows nobody at Napoli wants to see him anymore, and he can just keep saying ‘no’ like he has so far. This way, he could force Napoli to offload him at a lower fee. To whom? To a club that doesn’t want to pay the full release clause, in any case.”

De laurentis himself is stubborn. What has osimhen done that they cannot forgive him. That is what is stunning Mr. If he goes on loan, they will be paying him gorgeous not playing for them. Why not just sell him at an affordable price and forget it. De laurentis wants to prove a point that us not worth it

Osimhen to Juventus is not bad, only if Napoli will do business with Italian club.

According to sky Italia, Napoli wants €80M from Italian Clubs for Osimhen
