You know very well there's lots of irresponsible or just hard up parents in the unthird world country you live in who can not feed their kids. And that's not a reason to put them in care which costs a lot more than just helping their parents feed them. Besides, they'd be very unhealthy, and a liability to the socialist health care system, so we better feed them before they become a greater liability.

Having hungry children in your child's class will negatively impact your child's education, because their hungry rumbling stomach will distract the entire class.
This is a myth propagated by the food bank industry

In low income neighbourhoods, kids are fatter on average. There is no death of sustenance, only death of quality food.

A simple review of benefit payments shows that feeding is the last problem you expect on any benefits budget and any parent sending their child to school without food is negligent

Speaking as a child from lowest income household as a teenager with my mum working as a teaching assistant when we first returned from Nigeria, and my father in Nigeria, I never failed to have Wagon wheels, crisps and sandwich in my lunchbox. That was a single low income household with 5 kids to support, so I'm not buying any lamba about poverty. Even when I moved out of the house at 16, I got a weekend job that paid me £140 per week. From that £140, I paid my own rent, travelled to college everyday, ate well and had savings. People need to stop making excuses while their parents are puffing 20 cigarettes per day.

Unfortunately it's not Govts job to legislate for quality of food. Hunger is well taken care of by any job or benefits system. On an average day if you offer kids vegetables or fruits, they will hardly eat anyway, same as we did in Nigeria. Thankfully kids mostly use excess carbs and sugar for vertical growth rather than horizontal.

The bolded just too funny grin grin

But Budaatum- Hungry children can be a distraction in the classroom. Not necessarily rumbling stomach but the emotional aspect of it.

Trump’s justice department issues directive to strip naturalized Americans of citizenship for criminal offenses
The Trump administration has codified its efforts to strip some Americans of their US citizenship in a recently published justice department memo that directs attorneys to prioritize denaturalization for naturalized citizens who commit certain crimes.

The memo, published on 11 June, calls on attorneys in the department to institute civil proceedings to revoke a person’s United States citizenship if an individual either “illegally procured” naturalization or procured naturalization by “concealment of a material fact or by willful misrepresentation”.

At the center of the move are the estimated 25 million US citizens who immigrated to the country after being born abroad, according to data from 2023 – and it lists 10 different priority categories for denaturalization.

According to the memo, those subjected to civil proceedings are not entitled to an attorney like they are in criminal cases. And the government has a lighter burden of proof in civil cases than they do in criminal ones.
The directive gives justice department attorneys wider discretion on when to pursue denaturalization, including in instances of lying on immigration forms, cases where there is financial fraud or medical fraud against the US or against private individuals; and cases referred by a US attorney’s office or in connection with pending criminal charges.

That's cute.
When the government decides what laws they are allowed to denaturalize you over, they can then prosecute you for those laws.
And I wonder if they denaturalize someone, would that mean they can then denaturalize their children since you would have given them that citizenship.

Isaiah 49:15-17: Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget.

Ibime, my wife and I support a number of NGOs that look after children welfares... I tell you, there are so many irresponsible parents out there that should have no business having kids. The worse are those who have the money yet neglect these children. Father with money to buy cigarettes, drugs and gamble yet spare nothing for the kids... Mothers with money for hair, make-up and fashion yet give no damn about their kids. The father blames the mother and the mother faults the father while the child is left to go hungry. Should we also allow the child to remain hungry while blaming the parents?

Honestly it sounds funny but I agree with budaatum, some humans need to be checked and given license before having kids.

Umm not surprised because we could all see through it right from the beginning. Except for the willfully blind.

That big fat headed trolls on here said we should let him cook. If I didn’t already block them, I would have asked them what was cooked. Mumu children.

I mean it was clear he paid for the election so he can get close to power to dismantle the organizations investigating him. I pray that anyone who knowingly supports corruption should reap the rewards of such corrupt actions in their time of need.

Because the children whose cancer research were defunded for this hogwash, American women whose healthcare have been and will keep being impacted are paying for it. The federal workforce fired to “save money” who were hanging in limbo in fear of not being able to provide for their families paid for it. All the tears and anguish they caused American families and rejoiced with their chainsaws while it was happening, If anyone says such a thing is okay, may it visit them 10 times.

I think it's problematic when people try to dimmish other people's experiences esp. when it comes to racism. You are an outlier.
As a child, I was stopped by police with guns drawn at least 2x. Once, they thought I had drugs in my bookbag, (was heading to Sat. school where I tutored). Stopped me at a bus stop guns ablaze. 2nd time I was outside my privileged high school across the street from Harvard Medical School. I was waiting for a bus after school. Someone called and said I had a gun in my waist (why else would a black boy be there?). Both situations could have ended badly.

As an adult another 2x. Once surrounded by 4 cop cars, about 8 cops, guns drawn and asked to lay on the ground. Was walking back to my apartment in a white part of the city with 3 friends (all black). Supposedly someone shot inside a movie theater... and well we're black. That situation could have ended very badly.

Those are a just times where I was stopped guns ablaze by police. Many stories just being pulled over or harassed.
If you live a life of crime, you might be worried about denaturalization

These will all be noticed in the children's uniform and hygiene and intervention should be be made at that point, we do not need to cover up their negligence by feeding their children

Here's a bible verse for you

Jeremiah 31 Vs 29

In those days they shall say no more: ‘The fathers have eaten sour grapes, And the children’s teeth are set on edge.’

There is nowhere on earth where childrens quality of life is not determined by their parents but in totality, almost all parents try to match society's expectations of school meal and uniform, unless they are on drugs, at which point the children will/should be taken from them anyway. As I dey here, some children are flying private Jet or in private education but not my children. Who will provide equity for my children? We can't equalise everybody.

Criming is being unfortunate to be a tutor heading to my highschool on a Sat morning. The cops exact words were "why are you carrying a backpack on a Sat.".
The juxtaposition of having books in my bag as I wait for a bus after waking up early on Sat, so I can head to Sat. school where I volunteered to tutor other students while this cop thought it was drugs or guns still gets to me.

Criming is being unfortunate to be standing outside at the Bus Stop next to my high school on Ave Louis Pasteur across the street from Harvard Medical School.

And criming is walking back to my apartment on Beacon St. while being black after watching a movie at the Fenway theater.

Yes, definitely a life of crime for those who criminalize being black.

I pray that your children aren't affected by this racism you absolve.

Jf the supreme court can remove or stop birthright citizenship directly or indirectly. Something that is written in black and white in the constitution.

A Dem President will definitely come tommorow too and try and remove the right of Americans to bear Guns. Most especially dangerous guns as Americans have used it to cause more deaths to themselves even more than actual war zones

Two can play the game.

We wait and see what ends all of these
That’s what many people aren’t factoring in. Nothing even stops this President from touching the 2nd Amendment sef

Raum , there was a 2024 Bill passed in the Republican led house that made a single DUI deportable The bill applied to anyone including Green Card holders .
I think it's stalled in the Senate, so it's not an existing law.. I'm rational enough to see that it could be used as a witch-hunt
I knew someone in UK who was found drunk driving his kids to school. He was legally married to a white Briton with a single kid.. He was deported back to Nigeria after the wife decided they won't take away the child because of him.
Many of these white people deep down don't like us at all, but are forced to love us.

That part where she says “he’s from Africa, my dogs are cleaner and more civilized” probably made our resident coons here very happy. That’s how they want to hear themselves talked about.

Now don’t be a victim and think there’s anything wrong with such language. If you’re not ecstatically happy about being spoken of in that manner, you’re playing victim.

Have to toss your self esteem in the gutter and show the racists you love how they deride you to not be a victim. 🥱

That reality doesn’t exist anymore where one can pay rent with 140 pounds weekly earning, eat well and have savings. So poverty is still very much an excuse

However we can all agree that there are negligent parents even when poverty is not their excuse. Sadly for them, they didn’t choose their parents so feeding them is not making excuses for the parents.

We should all be in support of less kids being brought into this world overall. Since there’s a debate on whether they deserve to suffer for what their parents did or not. Once they are here, there’s nothing the community or country can do except give them a fighting chance by at least not letting them starve.

I typed a robust response to this last night and spambot got me. So I gave up and went to sleep.

But in summary I agree. I love-hate that we have to support whatever people choose to do with their free will including having multiple kids. but if it were up to me (and thank God it’s not) the birth rate would be about half of what it is now. Only responsible, mature and capable people would be parents.
