Can anyone tell us about Stanbic Imaan and sharia funds and Fbnquest Halal funds ?

I hope these fund managers are wise enough to use this thread as an anonymous feedback forum... Free user reviews and experiences flowing everywhere.

They are all faith based investment products. Their underlying assets is majorly sukuk bonds or any instruments that align with the Muslim faith.

I opened an account with them recently, they didn't ask for any employment letter. However, my worry is their position that new users cannot view their portfolio in either online or via the app.
these were their words:
Please note that we are currently undergoing a system upgrade, and as a result, the App/Online Portal is temporarily unavailable to new customers. You will be duly notified once the upgrade is complete and access is restored.

The exact date/time the upgrade will be completed wasn't stated, so am hesitant in investing huge amount for now.

You would send mail for many weeks no response. There use to be one Nobel Man, he has not responded. I feel maybe they are just looking for prime customers. We wey our money small them no send us.

Norrenberger is not as responsive; you just happen to be linked to a serious person. I got one serious guy there, too, and ensured he was my account officer. I even referred two people to him, and they have invested too with prompt assistance from the guy.

FBNQuest is indeed notoriously unresponsive. If I was not able to get hold of this guy acting as my interim account officer, I would have given up on them too.

hope that number is on WhatsApp coz I've shared it with my Norrenberger contact as well. That one is very serious, he'll reach out tomorrow.

PS: You can open online but account verification will be unsuccessful until they manually handle it from their end. So, it's recommended you just deal avoid opening online and getting stuck. Emmasoft can also help if he's available but that guy (my contact) will reach out and eventually become your account officer if you onboards you.

I funded my Stanbic IBTC BluNest wallet.

I used the money to top up my money market investment.

The top-up transaction was reversed.

Instead of returning to my wallet balance, the amount shows under "Cash for Investment".

Now I can’t withdraw it or use it to top up again.

Please help!

Yes i used the form from Emmasoft signature and it was seamless.

I just filled and sent to them it was done in less that 24hrs

Always use the virtual account provided for topup, it will save you from these issues

Please, the STANBIC MMF subscribers in the house. How are those guys treating their end of the quarter accrued earnings? I was expecting it to be nil off and added to the principal as a reinvestment so that new earning will start accruing. It's 48 hours in the new quarter and nothing has changed. Pls na so dem dey do over there?

Are you sure you opted for reinvestment of interest? because reinvestment of interest was done on the 30th of June, while those who opted for interest pay out will get credited between 1st and 7th of July
