Pre Season: Conte Bars Osimhen From Training With Napoli First Team, Banished To Youth Team.

As we first reported Nigeria international forward Victor Osimhen has been ordered to return to Napoli for the start of pre season training in preparation for next season, OwnGoalNigeria.com reports.

Osimhen spent last season on loan to Galatasary where he fired them to the league and cup double with 37 goals and six assists in all competitions. He is now back at Napoli upon the expiration of his loan deal.

He will be expected at their training camp which opens on the 14th/15th of July unless he secures a move away before the date, and it seems unlikely after his decision to snub a move to Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia the only team that has met his release clause of €75m.

The Serie A champions will have medical tests for all their players between July 14 and 15, and will have training sessions in Dimaro, Trentino Alto Adige, from July 17 to 27 before a a two-day break, which will be followed with preparation in Castel Di Sangro (Abruzzo) between July 30 and August 14.

Coach of the team Antonio Conte has already informed the representative of the 26 year old that he will be training away from the first team, as he is not in their plans for next season largely due to his desire to leave.

Just like it was last time out when he was sent home from their training camp, he will be excused from all tactical and technical drills of the first team. He will keep his physical condition by training with the youth team.

As a Chelsea fan, I like Conte because of what he did with Chelsea, but he needs to take it easy with Osimhen.

He could be loaned to Cyprus this season all depends on the contract he signs and the expiration. Terms and conditions of clubs are something number of players are taking for granted. They can frustrate your career.

The question should rather be, how is the team treating other players different from Osimhen?

These guys clearly robbed Osimhen of his award a season before last, they also openly mocked him on their social media handles, Conte openly showed him hatred in a particular football Match when he missed a chance, something he wouldn't do to others players

Release clause is release clause. There may be add-ons. And with his talent, is he too expensive at $75 - 90 m? Wirtz was signed for how much few weeks ago. (Note: I know they do not play same position).
