Renowned Nigerian businessman and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, was laid to rest on Tuesday evening in Madinah, Saudi Arabia, News360 Nigeria reports.

The respected elder statesman, who died in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, last weekend, was buried at the historic Baqiyya Cemetery amidst an outpouring of prayers and tributes.

Before the burial, funeral prayers were held at the Prophet’s Mosque shortly after the Asr prayer.

The Janazah prayer drew hundreds of mourners, including a delegation from the Federal Government of Nigeria, family members, close associates, and well-wishers who came together to honour his memory and pray for the peaceful repose of his soul.

Alhaji Aminu Dantata was a towering figure in Nigeria’s business and philanthropic landscape, known for his remarkable contributions to commerce, education, healthcare, and community development.

Over the years, he consistently championed charitable causes, offering support to the less privileged and investing in projects aimed at uplifting communities across the country.

He was a respected elder statesman and mentored other greats....but I had thought in Islam,the dead are buried before 4pm,the man I learnt died in Dubai and his wish was to be buried in medinah Saudi Arabia,his body was kept while they waited for permission from Saudi authorities.The body was then flown to Saudi for proper burial.
So in Islam,they rich have their ways.

So so person laid to rest (pictures) but I was surprised to see that the picture of where the deceased was laid to rest was not seen except where he was being carried. Only the people praying for his respose were pictured. The admin needs to up a lot here else people are misled with all these misleading titles. Or did you mean the people in the pictures are the ones laid to rest? 😞😕
