10billionDollar:I want the cost to things to be high and the environment clean and safe than the way it's in India where the cost of things are cheap, but environment dirty. I want bags, no matter how small it is, to cost 2k and above so that we'll be forced to reuse and not dispose them easily like sachet water. Poor people that love having too many children will begin to rethink their lives and know that 4 children is enough. People will walk around with their expensive refillable bottle water and won't dispose it easy. Indirectly, it'll benefit the environment and our health. Have you ever walked on the street and see money littered around and no one is picking them like in Venezuela? No. Then, why do Nigeria litter dirt everywhere and always throwing things out of the windows of their vehicles? Those bags should to be durable and expensive to the point big men can't dispose theirs let alone poor men. I pray Lagos pulls through this, but I know they won't — it's initial gragra based on Nigerian standard. Talking about low income earners, go and check how many children or side chicks most of them have and you'll know they don't pity themselves in the first place. Some of them are even training women in school. |

What Lagos needs to ban are the wooden kiosks and parasol umbrellas that have flooded all the roadsides and market areas in Lagos! Those things are an eyesore… makes everywhere looks dirty and ugly! |

adekolaelect:If you are not seeing balablu, then please point out where you saw FREE drinking water in the comment you replied to. While you are at it, kindly explain what ebilokan is doing apart from stealing money, if his 26 years master plan has failed to deliver water to Lagosians. eluquenson: |

[quote author=anonimi post=135965377]If you are not seeing balablu, then please point out where you saw FREE drinking water in the comment you replied to. While you are at it, kindly explain what ebilokan is doing apart from stealing money, if his 26 years master plan has failed to deliver water to Lagosians. I am not a political jobber like you. I don't say Tinubu is a performer . I am highlighting some point you many Nigerians want from government which may not be possible. They cancelled disposable plastic usage but you are blaming them and mentioning provision of water for lagosians to drink or for household? But whatever your answer is yet your responses did not related with the topic of why pet one use disposable plastics was banned in Lagos. |
