The Federal Government of Nigeria has shown commitment to collaborate with the Kaduna State Government on the construction of light rail projects to further ease the state’s transportation process. The Minister of Transportation, Said Umar Alkali, disclosed this when the Governor of Kaduna State, Senator Uba Sani, led a delegation from the state to seek the support of the Federal Government for the realisation of the project.https://thesun.ng/fg-kaduna-to-collaborate-on-light-rail-development/

When the governor fails to complete inherited works from Elrufai like the Barnawa-Kabala.Road, Rabah Road-Rigasa , etc they are already making false promises. |

Kaduna is arguably among the unluckiest states in terms of governance at the moment.Ordinarily, Uba Sani should have the smoothest ride as a governor because of the earlier works done by Elrufai but he's busy chasing shadows in Abj all the time, being used to wage a fruitless war on his self-confessed benefactor. |

Apart from Lagos and Abuja, I don't see any city in Nigeria that needs a light rail system. Let's have an efficient public bus system first. Lagos is the only city that has made a good attempt of the BRT system and it has really helped them. So, running a light rail system wouldn't be too herculean on them. Kaduna needs no light rail. Put 200 buses on the city roads and see the impact. |

Rail project won't work where security threat is the order of the day. Northern Nigeria need to do more, security wise |

amnesty7:Unfortunately, Uba Sani turned out to be a big disappointment. Of all his peer governors, he had the most solid foundation. How he managed to bungle it is a case study for ineptitude. He's so obsessed with fraudulent groundbreaking as if the people of his state are fools. Kaduna is a very cosmopolitan state, you cannot rule the state with propaganda. Where are the 100 CNG buses that Tinubu came and "commissioned"?. |

AMINDA:You won't see one of those 'commissioned' buses in the State. |
