Gbamsulotely, correct Guy, swallow is bae , it reminds me of when I visited Mbano to see my friend and she prepared plantain and eggs 🥚 for me, l declined, until she went to prepare Ogbono soup loaded with dried mangala fish and orisirisi proteins Plus hot Imo state Fufu, l was happy and stayed at Mbano village for 4 weeks......... hehehehe

Ur body need carbohydrates in large proportion to function properly

Trust me, as you get older and your rate of activity reduces, you need less and less of carbs. You should also walk more or exercise to burn those carbs you are eating because metabolism slows down seriously with age. Also, those predisposed to illnesses like diabetes need to be very careful with swallow. That is if you have a family member with diabetes and even hypertension (salt or maggi and too much oil, with age it’s advisable to reduce seriously).

Swallow was my least food until I met my wife and she made me to choose swallow as one of my favorite now.

Her method of cooking egusi and vegetable soups with the taste is top notch.🍲
Thou I can stay without swallow whenever she's not around because I can't buy outside my home to eat.

I eat swallow everyday. At times I eat it 3 times day.

As a matter of fact, I just finished eba with vegetable supportedwith fish, meat and ponmo.

Don't know cos I av never tried it my wife controls that...don't av to worry about food she supplies me with delicacy as I speak a wonderful pot of banga is on the fire ready to be stored in the freezer when it's ready..just finished d egusi in the freezer.

I've eaten swallow jst once in 2 months.... I really need to get married....

As a Benue man it's swallow all the, time.


It's either pounded yam, akpu and corn 🌽 swallow.

I can't go a week without tuwon masara, tuwon shinkafa or Amala

apart from rice, beans and tuber no other food alternative

For eternity if possible. The only food I can't stay away from for a long time is Bread.

I feel very light if I don't eat swallow in 2 full days.... I begin to see myself as bn lean.

so far the soup is rich and well garnished. I can't do without swallow beyond 1 day.
