The concept of destiny is controversial in a way all of us know what destiny is planned out events that'll happen in the future.

As Christains, we know that God sees all time lines of events. He knows what will be before they start unfolding. So many people are meant to leave a particular life, or become a particular thing. The popular belief is that whatever you like you can do but u must end up being what you were meant to be. Is that true?

No your choices affect destiny. Your will affect destiny, your actions affect destiny. That is why, if u are meant to be rich and you don't work hard or work smart. You won't be rich. Growing up, there were stories of a woman she's a twin. Her life was different from her twins life. Though coming from a lineage of fertility, she decided to live recklessly. She dated a ritualist man. And it's known that who ever sleeps with the man lives and dies childless. Today, she's approaching 60, she's been in and out of several marriages without any child. Her twin sisters children are ok. Even her daughter is about to be married now. The reckless one is now preaching how bad men are to her niece. How to revolt because she's become a bitter woman. Why this story. It is to make us aware of our actions. What must be may not be. Destiny can be delayed and also denied( by ones actions and choices). Even e get as dem go delay destiny at some old age it becomes denied. Some one can be destined to have 5 children yet die barren. Some one can be destined for riches yet die poor. That is why u must safe guard your destiny with prayers and by making the right decisions.

Mankind in general have the same destiny as written in God's word:

“Let us make man in our image, according to our likeness, and let them have in subjection the fish of the sea and the flying creatures of the heavens and the domestic animals and all the earth and every creeping animal that is moving on the earth." Genesis 1:26

From the moment Adam and Eve chose another destiny which negates the very purpose of our existence everything changed so God focused on His original purpose for mankind.

There is no destiny other than the above whatever you read in the Bible as destiny of any human came about due to the break mankind had since our first parents derailed from the main destiny of mankind.

God keeps on working towards the main destiny of mankind so there is nothing as individual destiny apart what God purposed for us all.

If God could tell Jeremiah that he has plans and purpose for him in Jeremiah 29:11 which says "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Mind you God's plans for Jeremiah and that of David was not the same. The destiny of Moses was also not the same as Jeremiah's and definitely not the same as yours. Christ had also another purpose too. So individual destinations in life exist and they vary. we do not only have a collective destiny as humans

Any destiny apart from the collective is as a result of man's fall.
Jeremiah, David, Moses wouldn't have come to mind at all if Adam and Eve did not sin in the beginning in fact mankind won't need Jesus at all on planet earth each person will face the destiny God has for all humans!

Simple reasoning should suggest that there are individual paths and collective paths!👀 Not that individual paths doesn't exist.

I'm not saying God did not choose some for a special duty in this system of things but we should know that there wouldn't have been any individual assignments if our first parents did not sin each human family would have continued with that same destiny as written in Genesis 1:26

So necessity brought about all these new assignments not that God purposed it all in the beginning!
