Nigeria must seek it's interests, period. National interest is the currency of international diplomacy, we should stop being naive. If we can reduce our dollar dependency and boost naira value by trading with BRIC nations with our local currency while accepting their currency for goods imported from Nigeria to BRIC nations, then we should align with BRIC as well. We can be friends with everyone, picking areas of interest, as a sovereign nation. We can work with BRICS, work with UN and everyone else that we share mutual interests with. 2 Likes |
