Those close to Samson Siasia should tell him this campaign of calumny on Mikel Obi is needless and quite frankly beneath him. First, in clarifying whether or not Mikel payed for their flight to Rio, he accused Mikel of being broke,.hence his need to peddle the story, even though in the same breathe he acknowledged Mikel paid for things like their hotel accomodation etc.

Now, the accusation is Mikel intentionally skipping the Olympic qualifiers and then trying to bribe his way into the team through his agent in 2008. It's obvious they aren't in good terms with each other but this is unnecessary.

I'm not disappointed per se, just not satisfied with the move because of where I've put my expectations, but I've always said I'd rather he stays at Galatasaray than go to Saudi or take a disrespectful pay-cut.

I'm at peace if he's at Galatasaray, but again I think all these are still rumors.
