Please guys, I just got a gs350 2007...it was misfiring on cylinder 6...I was getting 2 codes...p0206 and p0306...

I changed all spark plugs and it dint rectify...I moved the ignition coil and still got that same p0206 on cylinder 6...I finally serviced all 12 injectors...and discovered that one of the injectors at cylinder 6 had a loose wire....

I fixed the wire and the car is now very stable but now the new issue is that the injector on that cylinder is pouring excess fuel..and it is now affecting the starting of the car and a blue smoke now coming off the exhaust...I know it means burning oil too

So please I need a lexus mechanic in lagos...I stay at berger

I just discovered that my Toyota Camry 08 throttle plate actuator hose is not connected to the throttle at all.

One end of the hose is connected to the intake valve (I think) while the other end that is supposed to be connected to the throttle valve is not connected (they now use something to block the hose)

My car has been rough idling especially when the engine is hot. Could this be the cause?

My engineer in the house, pls help.

See how they wamr to spoil the engine. How can they bock vacuum air. Oh my gawd,tou went to school,called yourself a graduate,was there in their presence and still you allowed them do such....imagine what would happen if theu block your nostrils.

Successful rate of servicing injector is 50/50, if you can afford complete new injector, try and give yourself peace of mind

I’m In Opic estate which is like 10-15mins away from Berger.
How did you ascertain that the cylinder 6 injector was pouring fuel from the injectors. Is it through fuel trims data or there was still a misfire code for cylinder 6
Secondly, are you sure of the blue smoke cause with the car running rich you’ll most likely get black smoke from the exhaust.
Is the car check engine light still on
Lastly, was there any signs of smoke from the exhaust prior to the fix

Replace the nozzle. Simple. If the nozzle you replaced is a second hand one, make sure you bench test the nozzle spray, spray pattern and if it holds the fuel pressure when closed.

Those nozzles are very rare to find on the 2GR-FSE engines and also 25-30k a pop.

This has happened to my reverse before, but it does not do that when engaged in reverse again.

We scanned the car, but nothing emerged from the gearbox.

What could be wrong, and what is the solution?

Check the ATF level via dip stick, if it's low, add some DW-1 ATF

Typical situation such as this is a result of very high viscosity Automatic Transmission Fluid. There are no DTCs references for this so it wont appear as a fault code on a scanner.

Flush transmission fluid and replace with Original Honda ATF Z1 or DW1 and transmission filter and thank me later.

Major problem is my 2008 Toyota camry v6 transmission is leaking.
This was detected after two different times of changing transmission oil by two diff mechanics...Then a 3rd observed that my transmission was leaking and said it was from the rubber seal between the shaft and gear box....This was changed and again we are still observing leaks ...now i am being told to replace the shaft....

Pls help...cos these fellows are just driving me crazy

How did you get to the conclusion that the injector is pouring excess fuel and that's what is responsible for starting issues?

Follow-up to this... the mechanic said there is an issue with the transmission oil pump and the gearbox seal.

You need to input the code to unlock the radio. It is normally written and kept in the glove box, under the sun visors, or owners manual or particulars of the car. If you want find it, you'd need to pay for a radio code unlocker to give you the code.

Sometimes the RPM would raise and the car would move but if I can get on a good highway and accelerate the car tends to move fine until I get into traffic and where there is no fast moving air coming into the car and then it starts again. I scanned the car and I got oxygen sensor bank 1 lean I got p0031 code.

I have a Camry big daddy that once I am in motion and turn on the AC if I apply the break maybe for a pothole or intersection, when I throttle it lags for few seconds before picking up. Have changed fuel pump and coil but still happens. Please any suggestions?

Get a proper scanner and scan the car. You may wish to check it's fuel pump or fuse in the fusebox. Something is tripping it off.

Scan the car and post code. You should also check if the AC compressor is running freely or if the engine has adequate compression to run with the AC load.

Hello Sirs

My Honda Civic 2008, I noticed anytime I put in reverse, it has this very rough vibration for about 10 secs and drives smoothly.

Checked the oil and it is guaged..
