Two Nigerians were arrested and 2.8kg of MDMA crystals, 200 grams of hydro ganja, mobile phones and weighing machines were seized, worth Rs 4.5 crore.

Police said the two would dress as guards and claim to be working as security staff at Kempegowda International Airport (KIA). The duo would pack the drugs in readymade clothes and sell them to sub-peddlers and consumers, mostly software engineers and college students.

The accused are Alasonye Peter Obioma, 35, and Sunday Windom, alias John Victor Ambomo, 28. Inspector Dileep Kumar KH received a tip-off Sunday about the two staying in a rented house at Addiganahalli, Bangalore North taluk, since two months and peddling drugs.

Kumar alerted his seniors and raided the house belonging to one Ramaiah, where the duo was staying.

During the raid, the police team found MDMA crystals, hydro ganja, two weighing machines, small polythene/plastic pouch bags, seven mobile phones, and Rs 2 lakh in cash. A case has been registered against the Nigerians under NDPS Act and Foreigners Act.

Superintendent of police (Bengaluru Rural) CK Baba told media the accused were involved in selling drugs to college students, software engineers and other customers.

The accused concealed the drugs in cardboards used to pack shirts. They confessed to have sourced the drugs from other states but didn't reveal the names of the main peddlers or their locations. They were staying in other states and in Mangaluru after their visa expired before moving to Bengaluru.

Police said they chose to rent the house in Addiganahalli because it was close to multiple private colleges and universities, making it easy for them to trace students who consume drugs and sell to them.

Nigerians and risky illegal adventures are 5and 6. People like this that can do these risky businesses that are illegal, I wonder why they can't venture into risky sports like climbing mad bulls, ice skating, formula 1, flying bikes and many madder risky sports that the whites always do effortlessly and make money like blood money.

No let anybody pressure you, the ways and means of people are different. Just imagine if they had succeeded, then many youths will want to go to that country, believing there is greener pastures over there.
