The Sia Sia I know can never at that time and even now say no to a £50k bribe whatever shape it takes.

And what Mikel Obi said I know to to be totally true. I know on several occasions when players would pay the hotel bills for the whole team when in camp for friendly games in London.

The NFF officials were always giving a cock and bull story that money has not arrived. That to cover public embarrassment can some players pay that would fall on the senior players like Mikel, Yobo & Utaka .

They promised to reimburse but everybody knew that was never going to happen.

Do you remember when the NFF would always pay players in cash not by bank 🏦 transfer. Why do you think 🤔 they did that ❓

There is so much more dirty lining that I don't even want to talk about 😞
Did Mikel lie about paying for the private jet that took the players to Brazil? Yes or He could have been mistaken. (This is being gracious).

Did Mikel pay for their food and accommodation prior to their trip to Brazil? Yes. Even the coach Siasia acknowledged he helped clear some bills at the hotel.

Siasia was correct to say Mikel didn't pay for their flight to Brazil cause this was corroborated by the camp organizer in Atlanta, Bunmi Jinadu. He explained how Delta called him and offered to transport the player from ATL to Rio. He's a link to a snippet of the interview he had explaining this.

Again, It's obvious Mikel handled some bills for the team, but not their flight. He probably initially misconstrued that he did, but he's stuck to the story for many years and has refused to recant obviously. This doesn't include anyway justify Siasia's behaviour which I have called out many times.

Fabrizio confirms that Osimhen told United when they came: I'm not reducing my wage for you
Yes, he was not willing to reduce his wage, not even when Al Hilal was offering €40m and Galatasaray €16m plus additional €10m sponsorship deal. I believe he was actually waiting for a good offer from top European clubs which was not coming and reporting back to Napoli is what he may be avoiding. When the issue of Jhon Duran came up, I knew Osimhen would avoid Saudi. Highly disappointed about the Galatasaray deal, but I wish him well.

exactly. This Gala move na ridicule to osimhen’s potentials I swear

The right time for Africa to produce another elite striker after the likes of etoo, weah and Drogba but him choose to move to turkey permanently just because gala crazy fans dey sing em name for stadium 😪
That's my argument too, that's why I agree that reducing his wages to play for an elite club like Liverpool is not bad, instead of spending his his most productive career years in retirement league according to Komkn.
Who is to say if he performs well they won't increase his wages

How much wages do you think is low enough for Osimhen to realistically accept

This guy is a flip-flopper who talks from both sides of his mouth. I recall him saying earlier on that Osimhen was not Premier league proven and has to take a pay cut if he wants to come to Manchester United.

He even insinuated that Delap was a better striker than Osimhen, and now that Man U has lost out on Delap, Gyokeres wand Osimhen, he's changing mouth.

Abeg, make hin just mechionu. I was hoping one of Chelsea, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester United, PSG or Juve would have signed him and I don't like that he's decided to stay with Galatasaray but I'm glad the uncertainty is over and there's now clarity over where he'd be playing his football.

A good player is a good player irrespective of league, and Osimhen is easily one of the best #9 in the world. I'm wishing Osimhen well in the Turkish league, and may he also excell in their European campaign.

they must be a conspiracy btw the top clubs in europe against osihmen

Maybe they are avoiding him emerging as the next African balon d’or winner after Weah cus they know he has the potentials to achieve that

Just thinking out loud 🤣🤣🤣🤣
The anti immigration sentiments in Europe like I mentioned on this thread a while ago may just be kicking in, the thought of spending so much on a player like Osihmen will actually raise eyebrows locally, just unfortunate to see Osihmen bloom in an hostile era like this.

Had he signed yet?? Agreement is different from signing ooo

Beside those top European Clubs should be ashamed of theirself, Gala beating them to signing of VO is A shameful act from them, especially Man United,

How much is Osimhen wages that they are asking him to cut

Mistcheew

Also disappointed with the Gala deal but on the bright side looking like Saudi is in their PR prime.

All they need is at least one team in the UCL, both Fener and Gala in playoffs, and Tammy (English boy) making waves.

Verbal agreement is almost binding, especially in a country like Turkey with no secrets.

but I think he's banking on Gala not being able to meet Napoli's terms.

Can't blame United though. They have Sancho, Rashford, Casemiro. All unwanted on big wages.

So a clear out is needed.

Liverpool is the only other viable destination. Losing Nunez and Jota in one window should definitely create room.

Gakpo the only striker left for a title defence.

He ruined his career. It will be on record he underachieved. Imagine a player of his calibre wasted his prime years outside the top 5 league

People say Jay Jay Okocha ruined his career too
Okocha with his talent is an underachiever

I guess at the time Osimhen didn’t know there’s a dark shady side in the business world, much more darker & crooked than the streets
It’s usually done on paper grin
Business men like Tony Elumelu, Dangote, Otedola, Adenuga know this

Napoli could really frustrate his career, he would have gone for free just like Mbappe & Trent if he didn’t renew. Time flies really fast for athletes

Una go advice tire, na wetin dey my mind I go do

I think he could be at Liverpool though, because of Jota’s demise
