People say Jay Jay Okocha ruined his career too
Okocha with his talent is an underachiever

I guess at the time Osimhen didn’t know there’s a dark shady side in the business world, much more darker & crooked than the streets
It’s usually done on paper grin
Business men like Tony Elumelu, Dangote, Otedola, Adenuga know this

Napoli could really frustrate his career, he would have gone for free just like Mbappe & Trent if he didn’t renew. Time flies really fast for athletes

Una go advice tire, na wetin dey my mind I go do

I think he could be at Liverpool though, because of Jota’s demise
He has a very bad agent... His agent ought to do some work under ground. U can't tell me morata agent don't go this mile

No conspiracy bro that video he did insulting Finidi is a big blow and also renewing his contract with napoli when he knew he will be leaving the next year. He messed up
I agree Osihmen didn’t know Finidi owns at least five top clubs in Europe!

How much wages do you think is low enough for Osimhen to realistically accept
$180-200k for a start.
For Osimhen's calibre,if his agent is good,he can make it happen.

Na you talk say he for take pay cut join Liverpool na
So it seems you got the ligit info
Or his he just gonna call Liverpool that he ready to take a pay cut and join them when there is no interest from them?
Everything we are saying are all speculations, no one has the legit info except for Napoli and Osimhen.
Even the Gala's deal until Napoli and Osimhen confirms it to be true.

I no just wan talk since yesterday as everybody dey bash Osimhen since yesterday because to start dey type long story na issue and as God will have it, Tox has spoken EVERY single piece and inch of my mind on this Osimhen matter here starting from minute 6:30 for those interested.

This is not rocket science. Osimhen reducing his wages for "Premier League clubs" will only make him look stupid at the end and even be a very bad precedent for upcoming African players. The reduction is not even minimal, the reduction is disrespectful for a player of his status.

This is f**king simple! As simple as ABC! OMOOOO!

We were all here when every single person on this thread (except me and sir Goke7 of course) were lamenting and calling him all sorts of names because of a "rumor," as in a rumor, that he has accepted to go to Saudi Arabia to play for Al-Hilal. Those same set of people are still saying that he should've gone to Saudi Arabia 😂

On this thread I think people here have quadruple standards, because double standards will sound like an oversimplification at this point!

They don't do background checks and call fellow coaches that have managed the players before.

You don't know Italians... they barely forgive and you think if ADL wanna punish oshimen he won't block the his potential suitors from the back.

You're ignorant, background checks are for criminal records purposes, except you're implying that VO was an ex-criminal! Did Mikel lie about paying for the private jet that took the players to Brazil? Yes or He could have been mistaken. (This is being gracious).

Did Mikel pay for their food and accommodation prior to their trip to Brazil? Yes. Even the coach Siasia acknowledged he helped clear some bills at the hotel.

Siasia was correct to say Mikel didn't pay for their flight to Brazil cause this was corroborated by the camp organizer in Atlanta, Bunmi Jinadu. He explained how Delta called him and offered to transport the player from ATL to Rio. He's a link to a snippet of the interview he had explaining this.

Again, It's obvious Mikel handled some bills for the team, but not their flight. He probably initially misconstrued that he did, but he's stuck to the story for many years and has refused to recant obviously. This doesn't include anyway justify Siasia's behaviour which I have called out many times.
Dude 😎 there is a lot that players don't talk about.

But I know when they are going to camp they pay for their flights with the understanding that NFF will reimburse but they NEVER DO.

There was an occasion they wer going from Abuja to Sudan and the plane chartered looked like a flying coffin ⚰️. Enyemae offered to charter a better and safer plane but the NFF declined everybody prayed fervently.

I have occasions wheh flight's are not booked from UK you know find out 24hrs before departure. Players will turn charter a private jet ticket to get there on time.

What status ❓

Too many clubs if not all the top clubs in the top five leagues don't seem too value him the way we do here. And it's not because he is African, Drogba, Etoo, Mane, Salah, etc did not come from Europe.

You see how daft you're? Prior employing a staff or after employment during probationary organisation relate to immediate past employer to get some vital information as regard behaviour and other records that may impinge on the job or relate to his attitude.

Before I was employed in my current organisation they called my previous GM and he put forth a good word for me regarding my job ethics and integrity...he told me after he did that.

So organisations do this and also follow up with coaches recommendation

All of the aforementioned are not in dispute though. I am quite familiar with how bad things are administratively at the NFF which I'm turn leads to logistical nightmares for the players. The subject however is on the flight from Atlanta to Rio which Mikel has severally claimed he paid for when he didn't.

I don't need convincing to know the NFF owes Mikel money for some of the things he personally catered for, the flight to Rio just isn't one of them which is the point.
